Great food and service! Love the specials menu. Our table of four had bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage and the special hot dog/chili/onions x2. It was all great! I always add the French onion soup as a side,,,,Yum! The music and atmosphere is cheery.

Overall nice probably choose different food but ok ..busy noisy crowded but ok upstairs

We love this place and have been many times since they opened. However yesterday was very upsetting. I made a reservation a week in advance for four people and asked NOT to sit in a booth for physical reasons. When we arrived they said they had a request for 12 people and the AI system overtook my request and assigned us to a booth. We asked to it anywhere else with a table and they said it would be a long wait. So we had no choice but to be uncomfortable and sit in the booth. I can't understand how it is not in their power to serve their customers who made a booking long before for a request. There wasn't even an apology by the young man in the front.

My favorite restaurant in Pittsboro NC! The food is well prepared and generously served. Its not glorified fast food as in most other places. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The only negative thing was that they declined to honor a substitution request, which was to delete mashed potatoes (due to Keto diet) and also broccoli, so that adding Brussels sprouts would be reasonable. When they declined we ordered the Brussels sprouts appetizer at an added expense of $8. Doherty’s is a recent and welcome addition to downtown Pittsboro, and we have dined there many times. It is unfortunate that they couldn’t be more accommodating in this case.

We have enjoyed a couple of dinners @ Doherty's Irish Pub & Restaurant in Pittsboro. Great menu with so many choices, service that was authentic and enjoyable, and a nice atmosphere. We live the patio but we're inside for this dinner with the cold weather. We liked cozy booth. This place is such a nice addition to Pittsboro

Addison was amazing and sooo attentive!!! But we ordered the French dip and the meat was way over cooked and dry…. We spend many days here and are usually never disappointed with the food or the service . We will go back but hope the roast beef is a lot better next time !

I have eaten here 4 times now and the food has been very good each and every time. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been great…no complaints whatsoever. Twice I’ve been there with a group of 8 people and everyone was satisfied with their order and the service. Love their Brussels sprouts and the steak salad. Friends said they loved their fish and chips.
