Doju 〜 a combination of Head Chef/Owner Mika Chae’s hometown Jeollanam-do and Meju, a fermented, Korean soybean block. Meju is the first step for making a number of Korean dishes like doenjang (Korean miso), ganjang (soy sauce) and gochujang (chilli paste). Since Doju is Mika’s first restaurant, Meju is perfectly incorporated into the name and sets the scene for meaningful, passionate food.

As someone that eats out all the time (and all over the world), I think this was one of the best experiences that I have had in a long time. The food was perfection, delicious and of the highest quality. I went with a group and we all ordered the $125 tasting menu. Some of our group has special "needs" and they were lovely and accomodating. Our server was amazing and on top of everything. I am going back tomorrow!

We had our best meal of the year in 2024 here and we were not disappointed upon our 2025 return. Food was exquisite and again the Barman, Hector, stole the show. He's a gem. His Espresso Martini is out of this world!

Fantastic food, and outstanding service. We were walked through each course, each dish was something special, with a good combination of ingredients and flavors. The price overall was higher than I was expecting, but well worth the experience.

The dinner was truly great, as we are celebrating my partner’s birthday and everything that we ordered is delish! 🫶🏻(bread, scallops, snapper and pork chop)

We opted for the chefs banquet, each dish presented beautifully. From oysters to scallops, wagyu beef to sashimi, every dish was lovely. The service is faultless and I will definitely will return.
