lovely afternoon tea. Food was great and the service /staff were amazing. It is a bit of a strange location in the middle of the basement shop floor and feels a bit cramped and noisy. The afternoon tea is enough for two people so better value for money than it looks on the menu.. we booked in advance which is probably a good idea unless you are just dropping by as there was a queue for a table.

Very enjoyable experience. I’m very pleased we booked and we were taken straight to our table. Service was prompt and pleasant, our Afternoon Tea was well presented and very tasty, the ambience was excellent by being a little oasis in the middle of a busy and bustling department store

The website photographer did a great job in making Dollys look like an extravagant art deco place, however, you are stuck in a very small area next to the escalator in the middle of a department. Cannot fault the staff they were lovely but afternoon tea definitely not worth the high price tag, one tiny pot of jam between 4 scones, unnecessary coloured bread on sandwiches and very small pots of tea, for £50 per person I’d expect butter and more jam for the scones, bigger pot of tea, cafetière of coffee and knowing the sandwiches fillings! Asked if it was for a special occasion when booked but no recognition of it. It’s a shame they didn’t make a side room for this cafe as they have with others, felt just like a small stop off for a quick coffee rather than the special cafe that’s described. Would choose another of the cafe options next time. Shame as the nod to the Dolly sisters was something that attracted me but it was nothing special.

Lovely Afternoon Tea at Dolly's - Selfridges, couldn't fault it or the service of the staff who were always attentive plus the food was delicious along with the loose leaf tea.

Dolly’s Afternoon Tea was a wonderful experience and one we will be visiting again. The food was excellent, a beautiful Caesar Salad with anchovies and the afternoon tea which was great value and fabulous. The scones were delicious!! We loved the ambience and it was not as noisy as we expected. For us it was a 5 star visit.
