   My husband and I were looking forward to eating here since we haven’t been at a Don Coqui in a very long time so when we found out there was a new location we wanted to go. We drove an hour to get there only to have a disappointing evening. It took a while before we got our appetizers, drinks and entrees. There were 4 of us and when the entrees came out they missed one because they forgot. I had to wait another 20 minutes to eat. By the time it got there my dinner party finished eating. I asked how they could accommodate us for the inconvenience and the Manager apologized and said our drinks would be taken care of and we got complimentary shots. When the bill came it was incorrect and we had to send it back 2 times and the 3rd time it still wasn’t quite accurate but we were so annoyed we paid it and left.

   This was my husband’s and I first time at this specific location and it was AMAZING! We were celebrating a late Valentines. The ambiance of the restaurant is gorgeous. The valet was friendly and costs $15. We was greeted by a nice man entering the restaurant whom held the door for us which was nice. We arrived early for our reservations so we had to wait a little but that’s okay. We enjoyed the lounge / bar area. The noise level was a little over moderate but not too loud. There was great music and people dancing. The vibes were there. Everyone looked happy. Shortly after, we were seated and the staff at the front were super friendly. We were in section D which was nice we can see the city line and it wasn’t too noisy. The tables are a bit small and close together but we made the best of it. It was cozy and romantic. We were sat next to a nice couple that actually interacted with us so it wasn’t so bad. Our waitress Kaylee was the BEST! She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Her aura was sweet and warm. She definitely has great customer service and we wish her all the best. She was very attentive and efficient. Thank you !!! :) The food was DELICIOUS! My husband ordered the roast pork with yellow rice and I ordered the skirt steak with black rice. The food was flavorful. The drinks were tasty and gets you “nice”. My husband had 2 Long Island iced teas and tropical storm drink. I had 2 pretty in pinks. We loved that managers came around to shake our hands and make sure we were well cared for. The music was a variety types of music. Had us dancing in our seats lol - we enjoyed our on the house coquito shots! It was so tasty! Overall we had a great time and we will definitely be back! (For dessert too lol) Thank you so much!!!!!!

   The food was amazing! There were so many people celebrating birthdays and someone got proposed to!! It was an amazing experience. The manager walked around and greeted everyone. He told us what the dinning experience would looked like in the warm months. Me and my husband will definitely come back during the summer. Our waitress was nice. She was very accommodating with me being pregnant and brought me and my husband coquito shots! Mine virgin of course!!!!

   It was our first time at Don Coqui for my husband's birthday. Have to say location and the view is great. Inside is very retro vibes lighting was pretty. I personally came here thinking it was a Puerto Rican base restaurant but to my surprise it wasn't. Food was tasteless,hubby had order lamb chops he only got to small ones with no sides included had to pay extra for it. Drinks were delicious and the desserts. Service was good but in my personal opinion very overpriced for what you get.

   Went on valentines night. Waited over 1hr for our food just for it to not only be cold but also very bland. Two other couples next to us were seen having to ask for salt and pepper. Over a 200 dinner just to have to stop at McDonald's afterwards is crazy. If you want somewhere for drinks and for views this is the spot but for food it's real mediocre

   Ambiance was nice, nice location right by the water but that’s about it. Entrees didn’t come out until after 2 hours of waiting , food was not seasoned and over cooked, and the drinks were mediocre . Price of food did not match the quality at all. For a group of three bill came to $560 which included a $120 gratuity. * Note: with a party greater than 1 the gratuity is automatically 20%

    I had a great experience at don coqui The food was delicious, the drinks were well-made, and the ambience was perfect—warm and inviting. The music added to the overall vibe, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Our waiter was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a place I’d visit again.
