Don Giovanni was established in 1984 and celebrates over 30 years as Manchester’s oldest and most trusted authentic Italian restaurant. We are located on Oxford Street adjacent to St Peter’s Square in the heart of Manchester city centre.,br> We are based on a very simple principle. The meal at Don Giovanni's that we had on Friday evening was lovely. Unfortunately we ran out of time to sample a dessert from your selection as we were going to see a show that evening however the food was top class. The room was bustling and it made for a thoroughly enjoyable start to the weekend. Thank You.

The meal was lovely. However, the service was very slow - we had been seated over 15 minutes before our order was taken. We then waited quite a while for our starters & again for our main courses.

We brought our friend to celebrate her birthday n have a lovely time, the staff was very friendly n the food was delicious .

Excellent food great atmosphere & service from all staff with none of the attitude you can experience at San Carlo. Definitely recommend getting glass of prosecco while perusing the extensive menu. The best Italian meal I've had in Manchester for years.

No services at all! No one ever came and ask if everything ok only able to get a waitress to get us thedesert menu but only came back with 1 menu for 6 of us to share and no one came back to ask for our desert order! Next table even worst,the waitress put one full glass of white wine over the lady..hair,back, dressandpants all wet. The desert took 45 mins to come after few reminders. At the end took me almost 20 mins to get a waiter to get me the bill then no one came back, so I just put the cash with little tips on the table and walked away. Poor dining experience and not worth.

My partner and I ate at Don Giovanni's for our anniversary. The service was great, the staff were friendly and gave us just enough time between courses so we didn't feel rushed. The food was really tasty and we had Cocktails which were good enough as a dessert! We both enjoyed the buzzy atmosphere of the restaurant. The only negative thing I would say is that it seemed a little overcrowded, tables crammed in, it was a Saturday night though so it may have been busier than other nights.
