Always great food and service. Have some unique apps and dishes using “Baja” flora. Drinks very nice as well. We had sea bass and pork chop. Both very well prepared and delicious. Had “milk cake “ and affogato for desert.👍

We went for my fiancee’s birthday and it was amazing from the time of arrival to when it was time to leave. The resort is very beautiful and service was outstanding. Jesus helped us with dinner suggestions and wine choices. All were excellent. The experience, beautiful surroundings, and service that was absolutely out of this world exceptional made the total bill a little easier to pocket.

Me and my fiancé had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner here. I really loved the scenery, live music and preparation of the food. It was fun and such an elegant vibe! With complimentary roses ❤️🌹

My husband and I dined at Don Manuel over Valentine’s Day. The ambience was amazing, the live music was excellent and the service was top notch. We even received a email several days earlier requesting allergy info! I was charmed, until I saw the price fixed menu. The biggest issue was that one in our party is allergic to beef and cow dairy and we mentioned this several days prior to arriving, yet the menu for our allergy sufferer hadn’t changed. There were several beef items that couldn’t be consumed. They made changes that night that were not equivalent to a 200$ meal. It would have been better to replace the red meat protein with another protein at that price, instead they brought out a slice of potato for the main course, and a cabbage salad to replace the beef tartare. Not impressed with their changes. If they had posted the menu I never would have booked a reservation. I expected better substitutions from a restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria.

The setting is lovely and the service very professional. Had the sea bass which itself was lovely but supposedly it had pickled vegetables. The vegetables were beautifully plated but were certainly not pickled and though expertly cooked ( crisp tender) were completely blah, no flavor at all. I used the sl piquant beurre blanc sauce which accompanied the fish to make the veggies edible but they were really a disappointment. There was also a “ tamal” with some kind of hibiscus sauce- this turned out to be a sodden ball of dough which was completely unappetizing although the sauce was pleasant. My husband had the blue fin tuna which he said was very good but had a bottled craft Mexican beer ( an IPA) which he found too sweet. The wine list is extensive and the markups are about 5x/ retail. I understand that at a resort such as this that the food will be expensive but then I expect absolute perfection and this fell far short. Would recommend only for the ambiance. We are staying at the resort and had the continental breakfast here which was quite nice and extensive - fruit, pastries, cereal, coffee so it’s fine for breakfast.

The service was exceptional. Very attentive and informative but we never felt rushed. Luis was very personable he was charming and had a good sense of humor. He really wanted us to have a great experience. The live music really rounded out the experience. Truly enjoyed our night!
