   This place was great. Went with two very young kids and the server was excellent with that. Got them apple juice and butter noodles even though they don’t have a kid menu. The charged a very reasonable price for all of that too. And they didn’t rush us out just because we had kids and it’s a nice place. Overall a great experience with great service and excellent food.

   I’ve never been so disappointed in a dinner experience in my life. I’ve been to what I thought was this restaurant before until my food arrived. Everything was completely different and I’ve never been not able to eat any of what I ordered:( Wait..the $10 small piece of bread was okay….the rest from the salad to the chicken parm to the pasta was the worst I’ve ever tried. 2 people without alcohol was $180 for two pasta meals that were inedible. So at the very end when I tried to order the desert that I remembered from the last time I ate there they finally told me that they kept the name and reputation of the previous owners of Donna Mar and didn’t serve the same food. Well that explains it all. Don’t get taken like I did! Even paid to commute there just for the desert that still shows on their online menu. Super disappointed and ended up going to another restaurant to get more food and desert after leaving the FAKE Donna Mar!!! BEWARE!!

   Hostess, waiters and bus people were all attentive, welcoming and professional. We dined here twice during our stay at the Cadillac Hotel. The cocktails, pasta and steaks were all delicious and presented beautifully. They also have a fabulous tiramisu & cheesecake! Very enjoyable dining experience.

   We wait around an hour to get our food serve to the table, nobody check on us not even once… we have to see people next to us that got there after us got their food first and the waiters even management checking on them. The taste of the food was just okay definitely not worth for waiting a whole hour for that food. In the back all you could hear was the chefs screaming at each other. When we paid they had a QR code where you could pay and honestly they were taking so long to take my card that I pay with the code instead of waiting for the server to come and check me out, once we paid we were heading out and the server came to us to tell us that we didn’t pay which makes no sense since they have a code for that so it shouldn’t be an issue if a customer walks out. Honestly we wanted to give the restaurant a try but the food, the service and the experience itself was not nice at all.

   Starting with the hostess, we had a bad experience! She shouldn't be hosting people with a sad face; barely speaks English. The restaurant was practily empty! She wants to put us all the way to the back and I told her I want an specific table but she keeps pointing to the end. I asked her if I could seat on a table I pointed. She didnt move a muscle and I decided to left. A waiter that knows me as a regular client asked me what happened and he set me where I wanted as it was empty.

   Have enjoyed this restaurant several times since moving to Miami Beach. The delicious food and overall ambiance and service are consistently wonderful!

    This is a newly reopened restaurant that I booked based on old reviews. It has the ambience of a school cafeteria. There was no bread service. We ordered the tuna tartar appetizer and received it with a strip of plastic. They replaced it but still, no bread, bread sticks, or toast to put it on. Main course was a 1.5 lb lobster and spaghetti for $70. The shell was filled with spaghetti with four small pieces of lobster. No way was this a 1.5lb lobster, nor was it even close to a $70 dish. We sent it back. All in all not a good experience anywhere at this restaurant. The hotel manager did do the right thing and comped both dishes. Maybe it was due to the reopening but there are much better places to eat in Miami Beach.
