   Have enjoyed this restaurant several times since moving to Miami Beach. The delicious food and overall ambiance and service are consistently wonderful!

   This is a newly reopened restaurant that I booked based on old reviews. It has the ambience of a school cafeteria. There was no bread service. We ordered the tuna tartar appetizer and received it with a strip of plastic. They replaced it but still, no bread, bread sticks, or toast to put it on. Main course was a 1.5 lb lobster and spaghetti for $70. The shell was filled with spaghetti with four small pieces of lobster. No way was this a 1.5lb lobster, nor was it even close to a $70 dish. We sent it back. All in all not a good experience anywhere at this restaurant. The hotel manager did do the right thing and comped both dishes. Maybe it was due to the reopening but there are much better places to eat in Miami Beach.

   Food is overall pretty average Italian. Branzino had way too much butter and chicken parm was covered in cheese. Restaurant was pretty quiet but was Monday night.

   The server was friendly and attentive, however the restaurant advertises a kids menu on their website including buttered noodles for $8, which they no longer offer and give a small portion of rigatoni with buttered noodles for $16. Additionally, our appetizer (mussels) came out with our main course 45 mins after ordering. The restaurant was not busy for being Christmas, but the kitchen was obviously backed up. Previous visits to this restaurant were much better, including availability of a kids menu and how quickly the kitchen operated. Most likely won’t return

   Had a very good dinner. Restaurant was jammed. Vibe was great. They are in the middle of changing over to an Italian Chop / Steak House. Flavors were great Service was just slow. The Server recognized it and offered to buy us drinks and desert which when that happens is a great gesture. That speaks well of the management and where they are taking this restaurant. The staff was very courteous and professional. Best of luck in the new format. As an aside, we had breakfast here in the Cadillac Hotel as well and breakfasts and staff were outstanding. Would go back for sure.

    The food was good, just seemed a little bit overpriced. 20% service charge added to bill automatically kind of a surprise.  if I am in town, I will not go back.
