We went for a Valentine's Day celebrating on the 14th and were also celebrating my wife's birthday. The place was full, and had a nice buzz - yet it was still quiet enough to have a conversation. They were offering a prefix menu for Valentine's Day, which I was unaware of - and am not usually a fan of ordering. However, this was a thoughtful menu and the food was very good! Our waiter was fantastic, and made us feel welcomed, and was not rushing us out the door. I would not have blamed him considering the holiday, BTW, but he allowed us to enjoy our wine and dinner. We will definitely come back to Dos Olives! And we recommend you give them a try too!

Great experience , service was great as well as good. We took my Mom for her 86th birthday and she has t stopped talking about the time she had.

First time at Dos Olivos in Wimberley! Great location in a quaint cool town. Our table for 7 was ready when we arrived, friendly service, delicious Olive bread and feta whip appetizers. All entrees great! Large selection of wines. Will return soon!

The menu is quite complex but after it is figured out, the food is delicious and quite different. Can't say much about the wait staff - she was having a not so good night.

What a great place! Food was excellent - the whipped feta and Mexican street corn especially - and the service was great (Lauren, our server, was very helpful and thoughtful when we had questions about menu items). We’ll be back next time we’re in Wimberley.

Asked for burger cooked medium & received medium rare. My friend order salmon & potatoe side dish. Only side dish brought to table- server was surprised that salmon wasn’t included. Waiter said that salmon takes longer to cook than burger which was odd. They did take salmon off bill as it was not ready until we were ready to leave. Had to take carafe of water to bar for refill- waiter never asked.

I knew I would be back here within the first 25 minutes. What a perfect experience. Relaxing, delicious, unrushed, calm. I would eat here every day.

We had a great experience! My friend and I met in Wimberly because it’s half way point for us. Mondays in Wimberly are super quiet! We had the restaurant to our self for the first hour. We ordered our food and it was out in just a short amount of time! The food was great. I didn’t like how the menu works. Ordered the shrimp and it comes with nothing. You have to order a side if you want anything else which is expensive. We also ordered the burger which was very tasty . Fries came with the burger which were NOT good. They were cheap and tasteless! That was a huge disappointment! For an upscale eatery I think you could serve a better quality fries! Our server was good and attentive and never made us feel like we needed to leave because we were just visiting. Overall it was a good time except for two things I mentioned. Thanks, Jacque Gerth
