On this, The restaurants original site, Doyles on the Beach opened Australia's first seafood restaurant in 1885. We have been family owned and operated for over 5 generations.

The restaurant internationally famous and a mecca for Sydneysiders and tourists alike, offering a stunning range of fresh seafood for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.

Family Friendly, Great for date night!, indoor & outdoor dining located right next to the beach. We cater for families, business lunches, special events, weddings & special occasions. private rooms available.

Visit our newly opened open-air Garden Bar (open daily 11.30am - late) , try one of our refreshing cocktails, a draught beer or a glass of wine before dining in the restaurant or why not order from the garden bar menu. (reservations excepted for both the restaurant & garden bar)

    Overall, enjoyed my visit, the staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The food was okay, but no more than that, the prawn and crab pasta was a little on the dry side. Having booked well in advance, I was hoping to be sat outside on such a warm day, but was placed inside, albeit with a view.

    Why do you need 3 levels of I.D. ?????? Quite off-putting DOYLES ! Not an everyday venue But does not disappoint, What a legacy - another of Australia’s success stories, honoured by emerging generations WELL DONE Family

    Superb setting outside with views of Watsons Bay to the city. Food always tasty.

    Beautiful place, size of grilled barramundi could of been better instead of a plate full of chips

    If I had made oysters kilpatrick that were that inedible, the dog wouldn’t have even received them. Particularly enjoyed the clueless waitress who wandered past with our mains, only to return shortly after to ask, ‘Are these yours?’ 😁 An expensive joke. Don’t bother.

    Very expensive, Fish and chips. Doyle's really need to lift their game re the Food quality and presentation.

    Brilliant location and best fish and chips that I have had. My go to in Sydney. Bring back the prawn cocktail

    This recommended restaurant did not disappoint. The views from the table where we were sat were excellent. Service was fantastic and the waiting staff were really helpful and friendly. We had the Calamari to share, followed by surf n turf and the mussels. Delicious food, very well seasoned (which is rare these days), and great value for money. It was our last day in Sydney, and this lunch was a great way to say goodbye to Australia!
