Located on Lake Wylie in the newly developed McLean South Shore, Drift on Lake Wylie is a chef-inspired lakeside chophouse. At the forefront of the Lake Wylie dining scene, our food is simple and seasonal—home to prime cuts of beef, local seafood, and homemade pasta. Whether you join us for dinner, pop by the bustling bar for a quick bite, or book one of our private dining rooms for a special dinner or cocktail party, we look forward to serving you soon.

Located 8 minutes south of Belmont off South New Hope Road and North of Lake Wylie just off Pole Branch Road.

    Please join us on Thursday, March 27th, to enjoy the wines of E. Guigal Vineyards. Our 5-course meal will be specially crafted by Executive Chef Jesse Syzmanski. This menu will highlight the notes and flavors of each wine and guarantees a meal to remember. The menu price is $125++ per guest; this price does not include a special event service fee of 4%, gratuity, or tax. A credit card hold will be required to make the reservation, and payment will be due at the conclusion of your meal.

    Dined in a lovely quiet room, filled with light. Views of the lake and trees. Good food and great service. This is what my out-of-town guests said. So happy to have such a nice dining experience close to my home.

    At every visit, I’ve experienced outstanding service. Any issue has been recognized and addressed with the upmost professionalism and courtesy by all staff. Managers here are amazing - always present, known and involved.

    Jeremiah was a phenomenal waiter! My husband and I dined here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and not only was the food spectacular, the service was equally impressive. Jeremiah takes pride in what he does, is knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to ensure guest experience. The drinks he recommended were on point. We will definitely be back.
