DSRT CLUB! Another creation brought to you by the owners of RD RNNR. In developing a sister restaurant to RD RNNR, we set out to create a social club atmosphere that drew inspiration from the lore of Desert nostalgia. In our journey through the development of the name and design, we came across a true desert classic in The Desert Club. This vintage establishment was built in the late 1930’s and was closed up in the late 1980’s. With the 1940’s and 1950’s marking the major success of The Desert Club, we then envisioned a restaurant that brought back the swanky essence of those years here in the Desert.

With the intent to restore some vintage ADULT dining to the “cove”, our hope is to establish a feeling of upscale classic that is reminiscent of “nostalgic” Desert vibes. We are focused on offering a great feel in ambiance, amazing food and exceptional service all wrapped in a tight bow.

We had an early reservation. We decided to sit inside because that was my friend’s preference. Our waiter was wonderful except for dessert. It took a really long time to get that course. I would have skipped had I known. I had a RD RNNR sour which was delicious. My friend had a hazy IPA. I had the crispy skin brandino which was perfectly prepared and presented with a Romanesque sauce and cauliflower. My friend had the salmon which was a special. The waiter helped us pair 2 glasses of wine. It was a lovely meal.

Very welcoming vibe to this restaurant. Staff is very attentive and upbeat especially our server Lisa. We really enjoyed our 45th anniversary dinner. Scallops and special pasta entree were delicious!

Best food and service in Old Town La Quinta. There are always new menu items to try and favorites to get again and again.

This is the fourth time we have been here and this restaurant never disappoints us. We had wonderful food as always with new specials that evening. What a delightful time was had by all. You must try this restaurant if you have never tried it out. Exceptional and innovative dishes and beautiful ambience in La Quinta Old Town. The owners of this restaurant are locals and really know how to keep their customers happy.

Wonderful ambiance and staff. We have eaten at DSRT several times, and the food food has varied from excellent the very average. This meal provided very dry Red Chicken.

As always the food was delicious. The Caesar salad is unique. The scallops, mussels and pasta special with blackened prawns were all excellent. Ashouka? is an outstanding server; very personable and professional. It has become a go to place.

Have has several wonderful dinners there and decided to try the bar for wine and apps. Great service and food. Servers really know the menu and are attentive but not overbearing.
