The server was excellent. Made us feel welcome and appreciated. Service was excellent. We ordered a ribeye. It was dry, not enough marbling, and tasted like a New York Strip. The octopus was delicious. The lobster and shrimp Mac and cheese was not bad, but we did not taste any lobster or shrimp. It tasted like a regular Mac and cheese. The pork chops were delicious. We appreciated the complimentary sweets. All in all, a nice but not fine dining experience.

When we first entered the ladies in the restaurant seem as if they didn’t know what was going on I gave her my name as I had a reservation that was set weeks in advance for a low top table area and when I got there, they tried to suggest me a hightop table, even though my reservation said no high tops and then they told me that I would have to wait 10 minutes for table to which after five minutes, they asked us to come follow them, because I’m guessing they realize it was a mistake. Food was ok but a bit cold and the portions weren’t that desirable. Also, the lobster of macaroni was not that great for the price. The water tasted salty and the waitress was not that personable, in my opinion the price was not worth the experience.

I really enjoyed visiting Vanzant’s. Docked a star due to my steak being over cooked and my daughter’s undercooked. It took a while for the food to come out so we ate it (thankfully it was very flavorful). Wanda was a great waitress!

Service was shaky and food took forever to come out. Seemed to be a new restaurant and new people working out their processes. Willing to give them another chance because there was a large party over in the corner but was disappointed.

Nice place with good ambience. Very attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious and quite affordable for that caliber of a restaurant. Will definitely be frequenting this great dining establishment.

Excellent experience, but oysters were not fresh enough, and we would not recommend the halibut. Trout was superb.

This was our first visit to Vanzant’s and we were pleasantly surprised. We tried a variety of items and for the most part we were happy with our selections. We had appetizers, salads, steaks & fish and few a la carte items . The meatballs were served in a gravy that looked off putting at first, but were a totally hit with everyone. The variety of breads, a nice surprise. The steaks ( Ribeye and a New York Strip) were good, a 3.9, but not extraordinary for the price. The trout recipient was very pleased. We chose key lime pie and crème brûlée for dessert. The crème brûlée definitely could have been improved upon. We felt the price points for dessert were excessive, but we indulged anyway. We are planning on a subsequent visit specifically to order the meatballs again. Yes, they were that good! Vanzant’s, Welcome to Peachtree!

Service was excellent but wasn’t expecting more flavor filled tasting crab cakes offered too much filling and less crab.

We went on a Sunday for a special date with friends. The restaurant is beautifully renovated and the ambiance is lovely. We had excellent service with Carlos, who is charming, knowledgeable and fun. The food was outstanding with both lunch and dinner options and available. A full bar, by the way- try it!!
