   We went recently on a Sunday with our two children, two friends and their toddler. The staff were helpful and accommodating, the roast was fantastic and the ambience was lovely - they had a pianist playing. Will definitely return.

   Loved it, we had my birthday there for 14 of us and it was incredible. Love this restaurant and the team are so kind and friendly but also fun. Thank you

   Exceptionally good bistro menu, deliciously strong cocktails, varied wine list and stunning decor. Can’t recommend highly enough! Can’t wait to come back again soon - maybe for a Sunday roast as they come highly recommended by our friends! LOVE Dukes!

   I live locally, and i go to Dukes quite often. The food has always been fabulous, the staff is incredibly welcoming and warm. The managers are always bubbly and the atmosphere is stunning. I recommend Dukes 100%!

   Came here the other day for dinner with my mum and sister! Staff quickly found us a nice table outside in the garden! Cocktails are amazing, food was lovely and everyone was so friendly it was great, will be back :)

   The food wasn’t great value for money. I wouldn’t recommend. The staff however were great.

   Hey Paul, thank you so much for taking the time to give us your feedback. My name is Lucas and i'm one of the owners of Dukes. I can't see on here when you visited us but I would really like to get the opportunity to invite you back and hopefully change your mind. There's no excuse to fall below the high standards that we pride ourselves on, I just have to explain that we have been operating for a period of time with trainee and agency staff so we could still open the doors, and at times some of our temporary team members were not up to scratch in many ways and I can all but apologize and hope you'll give us a second chance with our new head chef, as happy guests are the most important part of running a small business like ours.     This is my 6-7 visit to Dukes in the last 6 months, and this one was a disappointment. They were clearly trying to empty the restaurant for a private party and should not have taken our booking. We came for the crab frites, they had run out but didn’t tell us until we’d chosen our food. Service was brisk… 3 members of staff asked me if I wanted to pay the bill, which I had already done. We had one course and left as we were clearly unwelcome - we weren’t even asked if we wanted dessert. I do appreciate they’d likely had a busy day but one member of staff was really surly. I am local and I felt disappointed that I’d taken friends & recommended it as friendly & fun. Not sure I’ll come again..,

I am absolutely mortified to be reading your feedback about the restaurant that my husband and I invest so much love and care into and it certainly doesn't reflect the high standards and customer focused service that we pride ourselves on.
