Lukasz Szumski has developed his culinary techniques with a passion for locally sourced products. In 2022, Lukasz established The Dusty Miller restaurant, where he elevated the restaurant to its current state and continued to update the menu every week. Everyone has something to treat themselves.

Overall wasn’t too bad . There was 11 of us , service was a bit slow We had to wait for our table for about 15 minutes. The place was absolutely packed out.. Because it was late 3pm , they had run out of quite a few things on the menu one of them being custard. There wasn’t any Christmas decorations up in the pub and no Christmas lights or tree outside of the pub which was a bit disappointed as it was the 15th of December. We all had a roast dinner Yeah which was good value for money.

Lovely meal and exceptional waitress, it was very busy and they could do with another member of staff when that busy. But everyone worked so hard and the food was very good. I would recommend a visit.

Was treated very nicely and respectful ensured we was looked after and served promptly. The waiter was happy and chatted

Food was excellent the only thing I have got to say is that 2 youngsters at front house needed to be trained better at service .

The service was good & the food that I had ( lamb shanks) was very nice. My only complaint was that the pub was very cold, (November). There was no heating on, just a very small open fire & we had to sit in our coats for the duration of the meal. No heating in the toilets either. I didn't think that the desserts were very good value for money. I had an ice cream bomb which was the equivalent of 1 scoop of ice cream covered with cocoa powder. It was served in a ramekin dish , very small. It cost £7.50. If it had been on a plate with some garnish, maybe some fruit & cream it would have been better value. I might go back on a nice sunny day but definitely not in the winter.

First time eating in the dusty miller, been wanting to try the roast for a few months now. Ordered two lamb roast but unfortunately wasn’t any, we wasn’t told in arrival only when ordering. So u ordered the pork belly which thought tasted like gammon and wasn’t bork belly at all, even tho I still enjoyed it was just disappointed which false advertisement.

Food was cold and not of the same quality it used to be, service was terrible, very loud 80’s music playing which just seemed odd. We will not be returning

Delicious food and friendly welcome and service. Unfortunately the venue was very quiet and after 30 minutes of arriving we were the only customers so the ambience was a little weird for a Saturday evening. We still enjoyed the food and evening catching up with friends. The lamb shank was delicious.
