Ilan Cohen is a self-taught chef who began his career in Jerusalem, Israel more than 20 years ago.
Along with his wife Lauren they opened Falafel Bistro & Wine Bar in 2007, DVASH’s sister location, and has been serving authentic-Israeli cuisine to the South Florida community for more than a decade.

DVASH, located in Boca Raton, showcases a modern twist on classic mediterranean cuisine. Imagined by Cohen’s daughter, Anabel Hochberg, the menu is designed for sharing and provides guests with the opportunity to travel the culinary world through their taste buds, using only the freshest seasonal ingredients and of course, a little bit of honey.

    The food is exceptional! If you enjoy Israeli food… this place is a must! Make sure to make reservations in advance. They book up quickly! Cannot wait to go back!

    Consistently delicious! Appetizers are fabulous, and entrées never disappoint. There's a reason Dvash is always busy and buzzing! I also love lunching here.

    Outstanding dishes, each one better then the next! Roasted tomato hummus and the mishogonah burger are my top two!

    We always enjoy our meal here with food being very tasty. However, portions were smaller and prices are increased making the meal very expensive. We only shared 2 courses and with service it was $90.
