The server was knowledgeable but service was very slow and not attentive. We were the first guests in the door at 5 pm and didn’t leave until 7:30 (regular meal no dessert). Margarita was wonderful, but my main complaint is the value. I’m not one to complain about an expensive meal when the value is there but for two people our bill was $297 before tip with nothing extravagant ordered. $44 for lobster mac and cheese which was relatively small (for $44) is crazy! We wouldn’t have even ordered it but the way it’s priced on the menu adding the lobster is a little deceiving. Our steaks were very tender and cooked perfect but very under seasoned. All in all it was a good meal but we won’t be back because there are so many great steakhouses where you can get the same or better meal for better value than E3.

We made reservations for Valentines Day and spent 30 minutes waiting for drinks. The food took 2.5 hours and the steak was cold by the time it hit our table. The restaurant was loud, cold, and the service was terrible for an upscale restaurant. I would recommend going to Kane Prime or Jeff Ruby’s before E3. We will not be going back. We made reservations at Jeff Ruby’s while sitting down at E3 because we will never be returning. Don’t waste your time or money, there are much better options for the same price.

I had a reservation and somehow we got a booth facing a parking lot next to a large party. The dining room looked inviting and there were several two tops available as we took the long walk to our booth. That was a disappointing start- not to mention the long wait between receiving our menus, then one return to the table asking for our entire order- drinks, apps, entrees. Felt like we were at a fast casual or lower tiered establishment. Service was poor and inattentive. Both wine pours were under 5 oz, and poured all over the table. No offer to wipe it up by the server. I had to use the napkin under the bread rolls. Just a sloppy presentation and no awareness that wine was all over the glass and the table. While ordering, we asked how the Mac and cheese was- we were told it’s not his favorite. Glad I didn’t order it. Can’t imagine how bad it could have been. Also overheard a comment to another table discouraging the ordering of an item, not sure which one- at a steakhouse, all of your sides should be exceptional or not on the menu. Filet was med-rare, but lukewarm on the outside, cold center. Carrots were served cold and mushrooms were lukewarm. It felt like mildly warmed up leftovers. I was so hungry I decided not to send it back. I was halfway through my steak before the server returned to check on the meal- I do think he realized by my less than enthusiastic reply that something was off, but he was busy with other tables. I think Kevin knew we got a subpar meal and experience but honestly, I didn’t have the energy to explain from start to finish what a bad experience we had. I spent 10 years in hospitality in New Orleans- this would have gotten my staff fired. We got several water refills, but that was the most service we received. I would accept subpar service if the food was incredible, but it wasn’t. It was so bad I decided not to order dessert, and I was really wanting to try the banana fosters cheesecake.

Such a cool atmosphere! We loved the fire outside of the third level, where we hung out for a few minutes after dinner. We sat on the third level at a high top since the reservation was made for the bar area. Drink was good, but bartender was unfamiliar with menu questions. He had a server take over, whose name was Morgan. She was top notch and took care of us. I would definitely give her five stars, but the food was just OK. I didn’t feel like there were many gluten-free options for entrees since I’m not a steak girl. The food came out a little cold, but Morgan definitely took care of it without us having to ask. We also felt like the quality of the food was just OK, but the Brussel sprouts were amazing! Pretty pricey for the food quality, but a fun place to go!

The service was below par. We had a 6:15 reservation, server greeted us right away and took our order as it was not a busy night. We did not get our drinks, salad, or the table bread we asked for until 7:00. The staff apologized to us for the wait, but nothing was done about it on our check. I will said, the food was excellent!

For my first time coming it was a bit meh! So they close at 9:30 but allowed me to make a 9pm reservation. Our server was super great! Morgan really worked to accommodate us. However, if you know you close at 9:30pm it’s best not to take a 9pm reservation because typically it’s good to shut the kitchen down around 8:45pm-9pm. With that being said we sat down and ordered around 9:20 and did not get food until 10:28pm. We got our entrees but we were missing our sides because they had to make them fresh. My steak wasn’t worth the price honestly. It tasted like a Longhorn steak. A bit dry and lack of seasoning. I wasn’t greatly impressed but as I stated our server was super apologetic, gave us free champagne, free chocolate cover strawberries, and was able to comp somethings off of our ticket due to the inconvenience. We would hopefully come back to give them a second shot. I do understand that this was a holiday but honestly it was not the greatest experience.

Never even got to eat dinner. After waiting over an hour for 1 steak and a pasta we left. Cocktails were good and it wasn’t the bartenders fault but overall we did not have a good time and for how much it cost to come here, things should have been better. When we went to leave we got a hard time from the valet because we didn’t have a ticket. It was literally the person who took my car when we got there. I had to remind him he didn’t give me one and explain what my keys looked like.
