   Overall the best restaurant we have found in Steamboat! Hate we took so long to discover this place. Every bit of food was prepared perfectly. The ribeye was cooked medium rare and nicely seared for crunchy fat. Crab cakes were exquisite. Bread service was much more than expected. This is definitely a place to go, enjoy and make plans to return. We will.

   Haven't eaten at E3 for sometime. Still one of my favorite Steamboat restaurants. The menu has lots for every taste. The service was perfect. My only reservation is their wine list. Most of the selections were north of $100 and there we no Cabs under that number. Otherwise great!

   We dined here while visiting Steamboat. Alongside a cool backstory to the restaurant, it provided a beautiful atmosphere and wonderful menu. Our food was prepared well. Although our waiter appeared knowledgeable of both the restaurant and menu we were a little disappointed in the service. We ordered an appetizer which was never brought to our table, instead being accidentally delivered to the table next to us. After receiving our main entree’s we kindly mentioned this to Daniel, saying it was no problem but we would just order a side instead. Although the response of “I’ll get that right out” was appreciated, we were disappointed with the lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. We continued to be charged full price for the meal. Kindness and ownership goes a long way when dining at an upscale restaurant and hopefully this was a learning opportunity for him.

   My favorite restaurant in Steamboat!! The steak is cooked to perfection, the sides delicious! We had the creamed corn(I wish I could get the recipe) and charred asparagus. Wonderful wine selection and the VIEW! Great service on top of all that!

   Our waiter, Chris, was absolutely outstanding. He timed everything perfectly with getting us more drinks, and checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. He also answered every question we had about the history and origin story of how E3 started and came to be. The food, atmosphere, and drinks are all fantastic. We ordered the 16oz ribeye and the elk pappardelle. Both were super flavorful and the elk comes as a shank with the bone included… the bone meal was so good. I would recommend E3 to anyone who is looking for great food and even better service!

   It was an outstanding meal! I had the shrimp cocktail, a 6oz filet, a wonderful bottle of wine, and crème brûlée. Wonderful service and a beautiful view of the Olympic ski jumps near the Yampa River. I can’t wait to go back!

    We’ve enjoyed dinner here a couple times over our annual visits to Steamboat. This is one of my husband’s favorite spots and a request often. The food is fantastic. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an excellent steakhouse dinner date night or with a group. It’s definitely an upscale restaurant but the vibe is casual enough given the area and temps. We have always visited in January and you’ll find some dressed for a nice dinner and others dressed in what they’ve got to not freeze outside. Enjoy
