   Ok atmosphere with pleasant staff. Good prompt attention and food and drinks came within a reasonable time. Foot was nice and hot. I had the fish which was huge. My wife had the lamb and asked for it pink and it came pink. One niggle was when wanting to pay the bill and add a tip on my card Couldn’t add it to bill had to use a separate 'tip machine' which adds 38p to the tip. So you get charged to tip. Only 38p but niggled me.

   I have been to this restaurant numerous times with a wonderful experience but unfortunately on this occasion it was horrendous. Children’s parties with children screaming and running and jumping on seating, no intervention from staff. Could not hear to have a conversation with my family and could not wait to get out. Service slow, sides brought out when I had eaten half of my meal

   Food was lovely. Just a shame as we ordered the halloumi burger that was supposed to come with smashed avocado and it didn’t. We weren’t advised of this otherwise we would have chosen something else. Overall though, the service was great, staff friendly and helpful and would go back again.

   The food was lovely but the service was poor. We had eaten our mains and then we waited 20-30 minutes and no one had been over to ask if we wanted desserts. All the staff were gathered at the till so they weren't serving anyone so I walked over and asked if someone was going to see to us with a menu only then did someone come over. They did apologise I thought they may offer a small discount but no.

   Beautiful meal. The service was really good with friendly staff. We will be visiting again and would highly recommend it as a place to eat or just to have a drink.

    6 freinds over 60 good was beautiful 3 had the peppered steak pie 3 ordered salmon only enough salmon for 1 person so other two were offered hake as alternative which they thoroughly enjoyed service was excellent as was food and very reasonable first visit but won’t be our lady
