    It’s not the highest of quality Italian dining, basic but beats cooking. They no longer bring the bowl of salad, it’s individual now so the dressing isn’t really tossed the way it used to be

    There was an unpleasant smell as we entered through their door. The tables were sticky, the condensation from the pipes overhead were trickling down to tables below it. We noticed as soon as we were seated here and changed the tables. The new table was also sticky, like they reused the same cloth to wipe it down without washing it? The service was slow, despite being early for lunch. We had to keep sticking our heads out hoping that the staff would notice we were waiting. The chicken parmigiana had a very chewy crust, like it was refried a couple times? The pesto pizza and mozzarella sticks were good. Not coming back :(

    We were taking our 4 year old grandson to his first sit-down restaurant. We choose Mario's as in the past the food had been good and it was family friendly. The first thing I noticed was that the music was very loud such that we had to shout to be heard. The next thing I noticed was that this cavernous restaurant was almost empty on a Saturdsy evening. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Our order was taken quickly. The food and drink arrived promptly. Unfortunately, the food was very poor and not at all as it had been on previous visits. My veal parmesan was freezer burned and over cooked, deep fried. The penne was not cooked to al dente, not crunchy but gritty. The tomato sauce was loaded with too much basil drowning out the tomato. The other food was tolerable but not especially memorable. The garden salad was wet(?). The lettuce had not been spun dry leaving the salad a soggy mess. Except for the wait staff, East Side Mario's would have receive a single star.

    Everything was really good! We had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken ! Delicious! As usual the salad and bread so fresh, highly recommend!

    I went here for my birthday with my family and the experience was amazing! Got seated in a timely manner, the server was new but she did an amazing job being kind and always checking up on us, and the food was delicious and arrived in good time.

    Food good Value good. Which is why I go. But this time the waiter was no where to be found. Not the normal

    Sweet waitress. But understaffed restaurant. Food was mediocre at best…all Portions and not exactly hot considering the wait to get it

    Very pleased with the booking and the food service is great but the level of noise was little bit high otherwise everything was perfect we will be back
