   Had 7pm reservations the manager allowed several families ahead of us also people with no reservation because they knew people that worked there where allowed in ahead of us I heard talking about this NOT going back extremely upset

   For many years we enjoyed dinning at East Side Mario's but, two visits in the last two months has convinced us that there is no need for any future dinning there. Last night, we were seated in a timely manner, and within 2 minutes the waiter was at our table asking us if there was anything we would like to drink, before we even had a chance to look at the menus. After drink orders were finally sorted out, our dinner orders were taken. Almost immediately two small loaf sticks of bread and a tiny bowl of butter, for 5 dinners, was brought to our table. What was not brought was cutlery and bread plates, leaving all of us to just stare at the bread. A few minutes later the plates and cutlery showed up but some dinners found that they had to wipe down their cutlery as they weren't exactly clean. Salads were delivered to the table and two of the salads had a miniscule of dressing on them. Extra dressing was requested, and before that dressing appeared, with the other salads less than half eaten, the main entrees were delivered to the table. It was all a case of "here's your hat, what's your hurry". Considering all of the above, plus the fact that the Caesar dressing, which used to be Renee's, has been substituted in the restaurant for something that was practically unpalatable, and one of the diner's pasta dish barely had enough sauce to colour her food, our patronage of any East Side Mario's has come to an end.

   Good meal at reasonable prices. The servings were large enough that all of us needed containers to take some home and finish the next day. The only downside was that in spite of the restaurant being nearly empty, we had to wait a long time for our server to come around.

   Last night my family and I visited this location and I don't even know where to begin. It took about 10-15 mins to be greeted by our server, then another 10 on top of that to receive our drinks (there were 3 sodas and a water) to which the sodas tasted like tv static... no syrup. We ordered mains that came with all you can eat soup or salads, we went with salads and asked for extra dressing on the side. Salads came with old soggy lettuce, no dressing, we had to remind our server about 3 times that we had asked for extra dressing. Not long after that we received our mozza sticks which were the only redeeming factor for this meal lol. We then got our meals (3 chicken parms + 1 veal parm) ...well what we thought was going to be our meals ended up being 3 plates of chicken no pasta?? The server had told us that it was coming out not long after?? 10 minutes, im not kidding, 10 minutes later we received the pasta that was originally supposed to come with the chicken/veal lol. Chicken tasted like horsemeat, server forgot extra sauce, never asked for refills and overall was a poor choice for a restaurant on my part. Very disappointed.

   My niece had her birthday dinner her yesterday and the service from Jaida was poor. The girls had asked Jaida for more bread, only to be ignored. They had to flag someone else down to get other things they had asked her for. I understand it's not fun to serve young girls, but when you are charging them auto gratuity the least you could do was to actually provide good service! Not to mention, the bill doesn't show automatic gratuity, but when Jaida passed the machine, she had already clicked 20% for herself. Completely unacceptable and unfortunate. These are respectful girls who came to your restaurant to enjoy their friends birthday and were treated poorly.

   The veal parmesan was great .Very tasty as they did not over cook it . Also came with pasta with their great tasting signature sauce . Also included soup or salad . Our server Jamie did such an outstanding job . My wife was very happy with her 60 th Birthday dinner.

    My server was amazing. The food, wasn't. The lasagna was room temperature, the fettuccini noodles were incredibly crunchy; not al dente. The chicken parm was incredibly dried out and burnt black. Very disappointing. Hopefully it was just an off night for them. The cooks were very busy socializing, as you can see them beside the bar area... so who knows.
