   No one was particularly helpful or knowledgeable, but staff was friendly enough. Service was not as bad as we were expecting from previous reviews. Front of House seemed slightly disorganized and frazzled. Food was really good! No complaints! Cocktail was not very good. It’s a really good idea to have reservations but walk ins were getting seated with about a 30 min wait. The market itself was super cramped and crowded. Could hardly walk which was not enjoyable.

   Staff has no training. Service is slow. Empty tables but patrons being turned away. Menu items unavailable.

   I’m giving the food three stars because I’ve dined at the restaurant several times since their opening day and they do not have a beverage that is sugar free other than water. Each time we’ve dined here, we have no beverage choices. They claim they’re having trouble getting diet cola and they do not serve unsweetened iced tea. Today we went to the market and purchased two diet iced teas to have with our lunch. One server standing nearby made a comment to her colleague about it. For a lunch without alcohol @ $120 for two, I would expect they would find an alternative beverage to accommodate diabetic customers and those that prefer a drink not sweetened by sugar.

   Service really needs to improve. Server was on top of us to order. Food came out in a reasonable period of time. Server became more indifferent and then was nowhere to be found when it was time for the check. He practically threw it on the table and walked off. No consistent with what the Eataly brand purports to be.

   Our first time at Eataly Short Hills was a great experience! Excellent service and amazing food--we split a Margherita Pizza and the Caesar Salad with the most heavenly pesto dressing.

   Horrible service. Everyone acts like you are eating at the most exclusive restaurant and should feel lucky to be there but then the entire experience is horrible. Forgot appetizers, food wasn’t cooked properly, and everything is very expensive and let’s remember you’re in a mall. Go someplace else and get a better meal and service. It’s my second try here and my last ever.

   Nothing like the other Eataly NYC locations. They were sold out of key entrees on a Friday evening. We barely touched our food and drinks because they tasted frozen and bland. Don’t waste your time, 1. There are there plenty of incredible Italian restaurants with homemade pasta in the area and 2. If you actually want the Eataly menu, go to the city. The entire location just opened and they already need an overhaul in training.

   Excellent edition to Short Hills. The restaurant was empty for dinner but the hostess said there weren’t any reservations available. I continued to refresh the app and one eventually opened.

   Service was excellent! Food was just ok.. I wouldn’t go back. The pizza in the front of the store is better than inside the restaurant!
