Lovely meal for my husband’s birthday but like a lot of restaurants it was a rushed service giving you an hour and a half for your meal. A good meal should have no time limits but most restaurants these days put quantity of covers over quality of experience. That said the food was nice, and we had a pleasant time, they were especially attentive to my husband which was nice. Great location and nice ambience but best to book as pretty busy until later on.

Just exceptional customer service. The food and customer service are always terrific. This is a great place for a business dinner or a date night. The ambiance and music always make the dinner more special. Management is always attentive and the staff is detail oriented.

We were blessed to have Kimi as our server. The evening was perfect thanks to her kind heart, joyful personality, and professionalism. Thank you, Kimi. You are one of the main reasons we never miss eating at the Eating House at least once on every trip to Honolulu

Everything was great although I did like the way the hamburgers were previously served , it looks like you added a puffier bun and made the burger a little smaller .

We love coming here ! A big shout out to Louis & Sasha for their excellent service when we dine at the bar . Our fav restaurant in Waikiki.

Excellence in service and cuisine. We weee a party of 8 adults and two toddlers and the advice was outstanding — efficient, very accommodating of the toddlers and so kind! The food is amazing — the short ribs, paella and butterfish are my favorites. You will love this restaurant and be back.

Last minute reservations, food was delicious. The short ribs, Brussel sprouts both great apps. The fried chicken was outstanding.

The swordfish was grilled perfectly! Good assortment of other entrees to choose from. Service was excellent too! Our finished plates did not sit long on the table. Very friendly and attentive staff.

No trip to Hawaii is complete without visiting one of Roy's restaurants and no trip to Waikiki is complete without visiting the International Market Place - put the two together and you're winning. 1849 has the best fusion flavors that's offered and all the pupus, proteins and sides are spectacular. The kitchen is consistent year after year and the service is impeccable. Thanks for making another set of special memories for us. As they say A Hui Hou 🤙 PS. Mahalo Nui Loa for the special gift. I continue to tell everyone about you.
