I booked this for a reunion and despite receiving confirmation of the booking the hotel called and asked for a credit card to secure the booking - I find this unreasonable as it doesn't state this anywhere, also it was completely unnecessary as there were only two other people in the restaurant when we arrived so they are clearly not overbooked! On arrival they joined together tables for us and we were told that there was no high chair. We ordered food and drink with neither arriving for 10 mins or so, when it did arrive it was just the water minus a glass. I ordered freshly squeezed orange juice which tasted as if it was mixed with concentrate, it certainly wasn't like any freshly squeezed orange juice I have had before and I have had a lot! The orange juice and tea took another 5 mins to arrive. The food took an absolute age and despite us all eagerly chatting we all noticed the length delay. When the food arrived it was lukewarm and very mediocre. I ordered poached eggs and brown toast and I received 2 eggs and a slice of barely cooked white bread on a plate equivalent to a tea plate in size whereas the other food was on normal sized dinner plates. I was then brought some barely toasted brown bread that looked as though it was from a basic/savers range. The Eggs Benedict looked good but was also cold and rather tasteless. The light version of eggs royale was only ok. The french toast with fruit was brilliant however, it was a generous portion, the right temperature and tasted lovely. Our party was very relaxed but none of us were impressed by the service and most of us were unimpressed with the food. We also thought it was strange that there was an almost wall sized TV showing sport...

We needed a place for 8 adults and under one year old near Victoria station to have a long leisurely brunch and this delivered. We had an area to ourselves to spread out and service was great, especially as we kept asking for extra coffees, and items off menu for the little one. The menu was good, food lovely overall though standard brunch fare. Something for everyone from eggs and soldiers to avocado based meal to full English. Booking and instant follow up by Eccleston to check details were also appreciated. We would go back.

Had a disappointing evening at Tapas 37. Really liked the idea of tapas style food but based on French cuisine. Unfortunately the execution didn't live up to the concept. The pork beignets were alas a low point - very sweet cinnamon doughnuts which totally overwhelmed the pork which just became a tepid meaty texture rather than a flavour. Dessert was also not up to scratch - chocolate soufflé was poorly cooked and tasted like eggy chocolate flour. Fish dishes were better and the gambas were very flavourful and well cooked. Service was a little impersonal and cold but efficient enough. Really disappointed but cannot recommend and would not return.

What a nice surprise! We were looking for a restaurant close to a theater, and chose Tapas 37 really by chance. This turned out to be a fortuitous, but wonderful choice - this was easily one of the best meals we've ever had. The ambiance is lovely, quiet, and very tasteful. We shared a beef tartare appetizer that was amazing, as were the two dinners. Everything was delectable, with picture-perfect presentations. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, situated on a quiet residential street, and was on the quiet side in terms of other diners, but given the quality of the meal, I don't expect that to last very long.

Unusual as restaurant is very small but was fine for us as we were a largish table. Food was very inventive and service was very good. Unprompted they provided us with a birthday desert which was most kind and very appreciated

We took a friend here for a birthday meal after a Thames river cruise, and enjoyed the Tapas Delight menu. It was good value for money and the wine was excellent. At the end of our meal they kindly brought out a dessert with a candle for my friend, which was much appreciated.

It's a very strange setting. But the food was amazing! And we were very pleased with the service. I'd recommend to a friend. But only if they were staying in the hotel ... It was a strange experience as an outsider ...

My husband and I and our two daughters chose Tapas 37 for and early dinner before the Theatre. We ordered about 10 different tapas to share. Everyone was very well prepared, a lot of different tastes and interesting and for us new combinations. Probably due to the early evening we were the only guests. The ambiance and service was excellent and we appreciated the calm, cool and friendly atmosphere.
