Eddy Merlot’s booked too many reservations for Valentines Day. We made reservations 2 weeks before and accepted 8:45. Late but hoping to be early. Arrived at 8:30 to a jam packed lobby with no seating or wall space. We were told they were running 15 minutes late. 15 minutes later they were running an hour late. Lobby still full and our evening ruined. We checked in and left so that we didn’t lose our $50 no show deposit. It ruined our special day. We will never go through this again.

Had a wonderful Valentine's Day Dinner at Eddie's! Even though it was packed, staff was so nice and made sure we felt welcome. Drinks, food and service were very good.

We celebrated my husbands birthday this past Sunday. It was a wonderful experience from the ambiance, food, and wait staff. It was our first time at Eddie Merlot but not our last. Our server Raffael was professional, friendly, and helpful. Thanks Again for making my husband’s birthday very memorable.

Date night for us and our first time at Eddir Merlot's. Our waiter Simon was very nice and hepful, as were the others that assisted with the service during our meal. We tried the filet mignon potstickers at Simon's suggestion and enjoyed them. Our salads were good, with the dressings on the side as my wife requested. She ended up taking about haf of hers home (the chopped salad) since it was more than she wanted to eat before the meal. She had the Filet de Mar and I had the Trio of Medallions, which I thought woud give me a chance to try several of their sauces. I iked the peppercorn best' that fiet also seemed the tenderist. My wife's filet was a little undercooked for her, much more like medium rare than the medium she wanted, but was OK with it. I'm sure Simon had the order right since they talked about it when she was ordering, and we realize that getting a very small steak (4oz) just right can be challenging. We didn't say anything to the waiter at the time; it didn't seem to be worth the effort. We shared the Triple Chocolate cake and took half of that home too. It was a very large piece of very chocolate cake. I expect we'll be back in the not too distant future.
