   The waitress seemed to be new so we gave her a pass on some issues. However, there were issues with the meal that were inexcusable. I ordered the prime ribeye cooked medium. I received a steak that was cooked medium well close to well done. I ordered Mac&cheese as a side & it lacked flavor. No salt or seasoning at all just cheese & noodles. It was my girlfriend’s birthday so they offered a complimentary desert of her choice. She chose the crème brûlée but it came out with molded raspberries. Overall it was a terrible experience & I will not be returning & I would not recommend this place to anyone!

   Thank You for helping me celebrate my wife's birthday. The food and service were outstanding. I really appreciates Piper's attention to the details of meeting our needs. Piper gave us more than enough time to review the menu before ordering. Offering suggestion on matching the wine selections with our meals. One suggestion though. Where we were seated was a drawback with the afternoon sun coming through the windows, making it hard to see each other at times. I would think there would have been provisions for window shading in this section. Mike Saville

   Eddie Merlot is always consistently good time and time again. The steaks and seafood are excellent. The sides can sometimes be a little bland but are always cooked perfectly.

   My family and I had a wonderful experience dining at Eddie Merlot's tonight. The food, hospitality, and ambiance were wonderful, but our waiter Carson made it truly memorable. My stepson highly recommended the +9 waygu filet, and my wife loved her wild caught Chilean seabass. We would give 6 stars if we could. Thanks again!

   Not our best experience at Eddie Merlots. The food was excellent, as always. My filet was cooked to my liking, and the crab, shrimp, and sausage were all delicious. Atmosphere was lively; moderately loud, but pleasant jazz with guitar and bass playing. Could carry on a conversation, with a little effort. Service was the shortfall, which has never been the case here. - Had to ask for bread from the staff, and then our waitress brought a 2nd loaf after we were halfway through the salad. - Entree (steak) was brought out, but I didn't have a steak knife. Staff got me one quickly, and then our waitress brought me a second knife several minutes after the food was delivered. Having food without the proper utensils, a moment feels like an eternity. - Waitress reached across my dining companion to clear my place, rather than walking around. - Water was never refilled. It was empty, and it was my only drink (I was driving). - When the bill was brough out, we were charged for a different wine than we had ordered. A substitution (at a +50% cost) was made without asking or informing. Also, the charges for the chef's fave were incorrectly totaled. Staff should always check the bill before presenting. To her credit, the waitress fixed the bill quickly, and removed the unrequested substitution. Let me say we love Eddie Merlots. It has been our 'go to' date place for >5 years, and we will return. But they need to pay attention to detail.

    This was our fourth time back to this restaurant. I have never in my life, had to practically twist the people in the lounge and the front desk to let us sit at the appointed reservation time in the dining room. Everyone wanted us to stay in the lounge. I had to voice that five times with the staff to put us in the dining room. Ashley, our server, was awful. I don’t think she was ever trained on being a skilled enough server for Eddie Merlot’s. The lack of notice on silverware, wine glasses, when to take an order, and she was behind every step of the way.  We had to get up from our table and get knives, forks. we ordered a bottle of wine. It was brought to the table and we were not asked if others would like to join and have a glass. We had to go to the other table again and get a wine glass.  I hope the establishment does something about the servers who are not trained enough, or do not want to do the job that they were hired for.
