Now well into our third decade in business, Eddington’s attributes the restaurant’s success to creating flavorful and creative meals consistently using the best of Huron County’s bounty.
Owner James Eddington states “we are so blessed to be living in such an agriculturally rich area of the world”.
Although the local food movement is really starting to take off, it has always been the driving force in Eddington’s kitchen. A menu that changes frequently, as each season inspires the delicacies our region has to offer.
Eddington’s occupies the original Carling homestead (built in the 1870’s). After two major renovations, an addition of the a new dining room and a serene outdoor backyard summer patio, the restaurant has a clean and modern look while maintaining its traditional and warm feel.

    Everything was very good for a higher class dining establishment I was comfortable but I misunderstood what my meal would be my own fault and it was very good though I just need to enquire more for meals

    We celebrated our 49th Anniversary at Eddington’s and it definitely was a meal to rave about. The food was outstanding starting with our mushroom dip appetizer which was enough for four people. The entrees were cooked and served to perfection. This is a place I would be recommending to anyone looking for a quality meal served by friendly, outgoing servers.

    The food and drinks were served by very friendly servers in a timely manner but at no point did we feel rushed The food was delicious

    In short, my favorite spot for every occasion...friends, birthdays, anniversaries and just because! I have never been disappointed. You can find excellent portions at a fare price for excellent food. The staff care and a visit to our table by Chef and Owner, James is always a delight! Tried, tested & true, thanks to your entire team at Eddington's!

    Eddington’s never disappoints. Chai crème brûlée was outstanding. The birthday card for my mom was a very nice touch. Thank you!
