Arrived 12:20 for our 12:30 booking and the place was closed - no-one inside. - Waited until 12:40 & no-one arrived - Called - no-one answered - Voice message - no-one could take my call. - Travelled 29 miles! EMBARRASSING

Place was clean and tidy. Service was excellent; waitress was very attentive and friendly. Food was not good at all. Nachos and toppings had been heated in oven and were really dry and burnt. Chicken Caesar salad was predominantly shredded lettuce and water. Came to just over £50. Not good value for money at all. Wouldn’t go back. Disappointing.

Even though I booked through Open Table and got confirmations both by email and by text, the place was closed when we got there. No message or anything on the door and no one answering their phone number. Very disappointing.

unfortunately although we booked through open table Edwards bar was closed when we got there.So very disappointed

We arrived and no one greeted or seated us. We went in to dining area and it was freezing so decided to sit in the bar as it was warmer but we had our toddler and there was live music and people playing pool so it wasn’t ideal. My main (fish & chips) looked lovely and fresh but had a big black hair in it which put me off. My partner had the steak pie (again this looked lovely) but the gravy was very salty, too salty.

Had small wait for our food after ordering, but worth the wait!!! All was delicious and freshly prepared! Good value for money and will def be back.

Customer service non existent. Waited far too long for food . We ordered caesar salad and it was a handful of iceberg lettuce leaves and a few bits of chicken. We had to ask for dressing. No apologies. We will never go back and having read previous reviews now, I can't imagine that they will ever have repeat custom. Very poor is rating them too highly.

The food was really nice I had chilli with potato wedges my friend had chilli with rice and we both enjoyed it. I had the apple pie which was outstanding my friend had ice cream. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for coffee as service was a little slow and we had a taxi booked to collect us. To be fair there was only one member of staff serving and there were several tables occupied.

Wheelchair user. Front door closed, enter through garden. Garden has steps into the bar area, so the front door had to be eventually opened. Ordered starters the prawns and garlic mushrooms had to be returned as they where still frozen and not cooked?. Had to ask for cutlery, napkins and condiments. Will not be returning.
