First time visiting. Menu was overwhelming with choices. French toast was good, thick, soft with crispy edges.

Disclaimer: I've previously visited Eggspectation for brunch twice with good experiences. For Valentine's Day, I booked the $40 experience, which included 3 cocktails. Upon arrival, we were informed there were 8 parties ahead of us, and we waited over 30 minutes for a table. When seated, we mentioned our Valentine’s Day experience reservation, and the server told us management had limited us to 2 drinks to prevent guests from becoming drunk. The first drink was a mimosa (no substitutions), and the second drink was from a very limited cocktail list. We opted for the Date Night menu instead. I originally ordered crab cakes and mashed potatoes, but the server returned to say they were out of both. I chose shrimp and grits instead. They also informed us they were out of most cheesecake flavors, leaving only 3 options. We ordered grilled shrimp tacos as an appetizer, which were good, but my partner’s Cajun pasta was disappointing. My shrimp and grits were tasty, but by dessert, there were only 2 options left, so we settled for plain cheesecake, which was basic without any topping. The restaurant seemed unprepared for such a busy day, and it would’ve been helpful to communicate the changes to those with reservations. The experience felt like false advertising, as the full offering wasn’t provided. The food also took a long time to arrive between courses. Overall, it was not a good experience.

Plenty of dinner options for v-day but the quality of food was fair. Eggspectation has good brunch food but dinner, not so much. Food was plain, didn’t really have any flavor. Drinks were pretty plain too. I ordered the chicken parm, asked for no provolone, they literally put two slices of provolone on top and tried to melt it but it didn’t melt too well. Food presentation wasn’t good either. Had high eggspectations - pun intended lol I’ll stick with this place for brunch only.

We dined on February 14th. Booked a reservation well ahead time. When we arrived we at 7pm and seated promptly. Our waitress was very attentive to make sure that everything was as ordered and we were not missing or in need of anything. Our food was delivered in good time and was hot. Value for what u receive is good. Would highly recommend checking them out. We will be back.

The Valentine experience was good. Service person was a little confused as this was a first time special event but management was wonderful to make sure we were well taken care of. Food was very good. It was a little bright in the area we were seated so dimmer dinner lighting in the evening might be a great addition. Can’t wait to go back to try their breakfast menu.

Food was great! Mimosas on point. The service was kind of slow, but to be expected, since it was a holiday. Overall, I enjoyed my first experience.

The restaurant was very quiet for 6:30 but it was the day before Valentine’s Day. My husband has the “Brunch for Dinner” chicken and waffles. WOW! Perfectly cooked and breaded, lightly seasoned chicken tenders served on top of a fluffy waffle and served with hot syrup. I was envious. I enjoyed the French dip. Steak was perfectly medium rare and fries were crisp and lightly seasoned. My only complaint was the au jus was very salty. I paired it with their Pinot Noir which was really terrific. The server was attentive without being intrusive. Overall food was excellent! And the meal was truly enjoyed. Keep in mind, though, this is not a romantic dining venue, but an awesome place to take the family or casual friends. More diner-ish than romantic. Go for the chicken and waffles!

This is my 2nd time at Eggspectation. Both times we had great service and great food (a lot for your money)! I highly recommend Eggspectation!
