Amazing venue, but drinks took far too long to arrive. Roughly about 20 mins each time, really strong and not much taste to them for the price. But music was great and the atmosphere was great

Cressida has done a phenomenal job with Ego Death. The journey down to the bar is a bit of fun and when you enter the bar properly it really feels like you’ve been transported to an intimate and impeccably designed speak easy. You can forget the world you’ve left outside. The team are friendly, inviting and knowledgable. Really impressive. Elliot especially was absolutely fantastic and was happy to chat with us, talk us through the menu and various drinks. The drinks were very well priced and some of the best cocktails my husband and I have ever had. We only meant to stay for one maybe two drinks - we ended up staying for hours. We would highly recommend visiting and we will absolutely be back!

We decided to celebrate NewYears getting smashed at the “Ego death”, which was a great decision. Great atmosphere and fantastic music throughout the night. The drink menu inspired by New York also inspired us to drink. Hidden under a unsuspicious burger place it’s an absolute gem and we would recommend.

I booked the venue on Open table App had confirmation and 2 reminders asking for confirmation on attending which I completed. We travelled into Manchester specifically for the bar venue at 4.00pm which were the times the opening started at. We gained entrance the bar and seating was set up with candles at tables etc. only then to be told by a manager that the venue did not open for another 1-2hrs . He apologised and when challenged on when they did open he was not too sure but it definitely was not 4pm. We were asked to leave. The open table platform is incorrect and how the manager dealt with the situation was poor. Open table and Ego Death need to do-ordinate their business’s better. Poor from both Open Table and even more surprising was the management at Ego Death. Re train on customer services would not go a miss. Won’t be going again.
