Welcome to the second iteration of El Estanco.

This space will house the casual café and restaurant offering, where most drinkers and diners will congregate at tables and banquettes.

One room over there will be a small providore-style shop, stocked with coffee, tea, ceramics and a range of other locally produced items.

The menu has always drawn heavily from Julian’s homeland of Colombia, and will continue to do so, with the chef’s second in command being another native Colombian, Verónica Tobón Arango.

“It’s that same concept of, let’s go there, gather, get fed, drink, buy some provisions, have a good time, mingle with people, and go.”

Absolutely fantastic lunch in the outdoor space. Great food, service and wine. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back again.

An interesting menu and the food was ok. Unfortunately the terrible service impacted greatly on our experience.

A wonderful place to eat in the Barossa. A little out of the way and you need to consider travel options. Like most of these places the noise level is high. Food is very good and the service was also good. We attended on a Friday night so had the pizza which gives you a set pizza menu so don't expect to be able to order your own 'special' pizza. A minor detail

A beautiful venue with a blend of old and new - lovely food with interesting and delightful blends of flavours and textures. A little pricey for the serving sizes, but a fulfilling experience nonetheless.

Great atmosphere! We had a lovely afternoon having a slow lunch. It was great fun guessing the secret ingredient in one of the sauces…….sh!!!! It’s is a secret. Lovely service and great location. Beautiful.

A great introduction to a new --- for us --- cuisine. Absolutely worth the 50 min drive from Adelaide. We'll be back.

The waitress did tell us the special & didn’t seem engaging. Price was high for the breakfast we got, order was incorrect for the kids breakfast, all we wanted was bacon and toast. $23 for 2 eggs, some beans, on 2 soggy tostadas with half a chorizo for an extra $5, a meal you could easily make at home for $3. The eggs received with the child’s breakfast were very bland. The $30 breakfast was quite disappointing, both is size and flavour. The ambiance was nice and the decoration is very nice.

Amazing pizzas in a wonderful modern / historical mexican setting. It was so good we came back the next morning for coffee!
