When Can Ramonet became outgrew itself, El Nou Ramonet opened its doors: a restaurant which is faithful to the traditional, warm service and with a gastronomic offering intrinsically linked to the Barceloneta neighbourhood and its traditional Catalan and seafood cuisine. El Nou Ramonet is perfect for large and small groups, as it also has a spacious, functional and multi-purpose area, with private rooms equipped for all types of celebrations, get-togethers and reunions.
The highlights of the menu, based on traditional, seafood cuisine, are the excellent PAELLAS, the seafood and the wild fish, cooked to perfection. Home-made tapas and traditional taster dishes made with premium-quality produce also play an important role and the gastronomic experience is rounded off with an extensive wine list, the basis of our culture.

The quality of the food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. Family style atmosphere was very welcoming. Had a great meal. A gem of a restaurant

Visiting from the United States. This restaurant gives you a taste of Barcelona, with many local patrons. The service and food was great. This is a family restaurant so it was moderately loud in pleasant manner, with children and families.

The decor created a delightful atmosphere for a restaurant of this kind. The food was excellent & deboned perfectly. What made the evening was the humour, personality & service provided by Pedro. In our view, a Barcelona "must".

All’inizio eravamo un po’ delusi dal fatto che ci avesse messo in un tavolo stretto e in mezzo ad una sala rumorosa… ma senza dover chiedere ci hanno proposto di spostarci in una sala più ampia con più spazio, e il cibo è davvero buono: la paella è abbondante e buona, il vino di qualità e a prezzi onesti, personale simpatico e disponibile. Consigliatissimo

The food was good but the restaurant seemed understaffed (especially concerning as when we arrived there were only 2 other tables seated). They didn't hear some of our orders so some were left waiting for 30+ minutes when other mains had arrived. Wait staff also were slow with drinsk etc. Price was also a little high for what was served.

We had a wonderful experience with an attentive staff. We did the tapas meal for a total of 8 people and the food was incredible. They were also able to adapt the meal to be inclusive of a shellfish allergy for one of the members of the group, ensuring that we all had a great experience.

We went to this restaurant three times in total. We had fish every time and the fish from the market twice. The food was really good, the wine suggestions excellent, but what was outstanding was the service from the waiters who were so much fun.
