Incredible food and dining experience! Daniel was our server and he went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. The food is beyond words! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We started out with the gambas al ajillo, croquetas, and an order of patatas bravas from the Classics. We got an additional order of croquetas with the ssam de costillas which was a great portion since we had a good amount of tapas to start off with. We ended with the Torrija and I have beef with the chef because it was so good! The salted caramel and whip cream were so tasty with the toast. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you El Raval!

Everything we ordered was delicious (patatas bravas, calamares, paletilla de jamón de bellota, ssam de costilla (this one stood out), pulpo a la brasa, gazpacho and a seafood paella). Chef Laila delivers on her promise; the food is grounded in Spanish cuisine (faithfully, I may add) but she incorporates bold flavors from elsewhere, perhaps the Ssam de Costilla (with its asian inspiration) and the Gazpacho (adding Fredericksburg peaches) are two great examples where she successfully achieves that.

This is one of my favorite places to go. The kitchen, and chef, are extremely accommodating, even when I tell them to burn my paella because I love a really crisp socarat.

Excellent experience! Our table was pre-arranged for our anniversary with a "Happy Anniversary" note and encountered many special touches / attentions throughout the evening. The staff was great and worked very well together. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

This restaurant was a very nice surprise. I just came back from Spain and living in the US, I know for a fact that it is really hard to find good authentic Spanish food that has not been modified to please the American consumer. This restaurant, although a bit of a fusion, and although having a non-Spanish chef/owner, tasted more like Spanish food than most Spanish restaurants I have visited in the US. We have a few restaurants in Houston that are own by Spaniards, and let me tell you that this restaurant was, in my opinion, far better than any Spanish restaurant I have visited in Houston. The appetizers are a little pricey for the size, but still delicious. The paella is reasonably priced and amazing!!! The wine list is loooooong, with tons of options for everyone. Definitely a must stop next time we visit Austin, TX.

The table by the patio wasn’t ideal or comfortable. The tables inside are the way to go. The food was very good, the paella was specially nice. I’d avoid the ceviche though, it has very little fish on it for the price
