   Gambas al Ajiillo was delicious but wasn't a big fan of Octopus, Mussels or even the Paella. Octopus had a bitter aftertaste (it was not the sauce), Sauce on the Mussels were too creamy for our taste, and I don't think it was as fresh as it could've been... The cook on the Paella was pretty good but once again, they put the creamy sauce on the mussels and there was a dollop of what tasted like garlic aioli on the side - not quite the Paella we've had in Spain. However, our biggest issue was that the food came out too fast. We had our appetizers and the Paella all within 25 min from ordering. It felt more like going to a fast food restaurant than going out for a nice dinner - we were there to celebrate our 33 year anniversary and was bit disappointed... Having said this, someone else may love the taste of the food and love the fast service.

   This place is the best Spaniard food in Austin! and the manager is AMAZING! Super nice guy and he caters to everyone! Food is amazing and ambience is excellent

   We treated ourselves to El Raval as a nostalgic nod to our trip to Barcelona last year. It was fun to order many of our favorite tapas from the trip, and felt that it was a delicious, fun meal. The staff was warm and friendly, and at the end we asked one of the servers what his favorite dessert was. He changed his mind once he gave his answer, so we ordered his "final answer". A few minutes later, out he came... With our order, AND his original favorite... as a gift. He didn't want us to leave without trying both! THAT kind gesture really MADE our meal memorable and special, as he offered us true HOSPITALITY! It made us feel so good, so welcome, and so special. We will come back, because of THAT feeling! By the way- you should order both desserts too... Try the rice pudding with Dulce de leche ice cream, and cream stuffed toast... enjoying them TOGETHER is an amazing contrasting treat!

   My second time there and will not be the last. My daughter and I enjoyed the Flamenco performance a great compliment for our meal. We had Tapas de gambas, papás, albóndigas y pulpo. We had white wine mine was the sparkling one. Excellent service I’ll be telling all my relatives and friends. Oh yes, the price was very doable, thank you.

    Amazing! I am from Spain and I will tell you that for the first time in a while, I felt close to home! Very friendly service and excellent food. If you haven’t been here, what are you waiting for?!
