   Been a good few times for the Sunday rodizio and while we really enjoy it every time, we find the drinks service extremely slow and had to repeat ourselves a few times for refills on food/ drinks.

   We ordered the chefs recommendation. This allowed us to try different dishes, all of which were delicious. Loved the mariachi band and dancers. Really fun experience!

   El Santo, where do we begin. Maybe the 15min wait after being seated, before any order was taken. No drinks order taken before food only when we prompted we hadn't had our drink order taken was it.. I even showed the waiter what type of wine (white) attempt 1 a bottle of red, sent back, attempt 2 bottle of white wrong one £20 more expensive, sent back attempt 3 finally got there after 3 attempts and half way through our food and a good 35 minute wait for a drink. The food was actually quite nice but a bit on the expensive side for what you actually got , a selection of small plates and a debatable "homemade" ice cream the choice of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate maybe give doubt to the claim. Now after all that and the severe delay in getting our wine we were told we were running out of time on our table. This seems to be a thing that has reared its head since covid. Then came the bill and another member of staff, who presented us with the bill and stated "ill leave that with you to look over" only to literally return 2 mins later with the card machine. But after all the above the bill still contained a 10% service charge ( yes I know it is optional ) but after our experience and several apologies from the manager stateing all the staff were new and in training ( Saturday evening )i cannot fathom why this even made it onto our bill. The hospitality industry claims it is stretched well stop charging 10% on top of over priced wine, stop putting 10% on service when the service is nothing special and unwarranted and it is your job. Sorry to say El Santo we will not be back and I would advise other patrons to stop accepting this 10% service charge as the norm it is unwarranted and unjustified.

   Individual and special this place has something in its make up that gives the individual an experience which chain restaurants and ultr polished places do not

   Walked in to a lovely restaurant with high expectations. I as really looking forward to a tequila or few. Order with the lunch time menu - 2 courses. 3 of us. 2 mains ordered and 1 starter as a main. I didn’t know which wine I wanted so the waitress allowed me to taste 2 to decide which I wanted. So far so good. Then 3 little pork bonbons arrived and the waitress put them in the middle of the table saying ‘ here are bonbons for you. We presumed that they were complimentary and had one each. 2 mains arrived later . No change of cutlery. 1 main - steak & egg sandwich was very soggy and my friend couldn’t eat it, My main - seafood stew was very small and could have done with some bread or a side to go with it but we weren’t advised of this. The mussels were not clean enough. There were barnacles still on the shells and a couple of the shells were green . When I advised the waiter of this he said the barnacles didn’t need to be removed ? My other friends starter as a main didn’t appear with the other two but when we asked we were told that the bonbons were my friends meal - !! She had ordered the chicken pasties as her meal but the waitress had ordered the wrong thing. Hence why we thought the 3 bonbons were complimentary. She then got her pasties but late and they were a small starter portion and not as a main as she asked. Desert was Churros which were delicious but they didn’t come with cutlery and we had to ask. Needless to say we didn’t stay for tequila and we had a very disappointing experience. The manager did take the cost of one meal off the menu but this didn’t take away the disappointing experience. We won’t be back unfortunately.

   The food was wonderful and together with great service, my wife and I had a fantastic night. This was our first visit to El Santo. It will not be our last.

   Amazing experience. Team were so attentive & lovely. Food was exceptional! Great atmosphere & great to see they are family friendly. Great value for money & will be back.

   I went with my girlfriend, we both are from Bolivia, we enjoyed the taste of the food, the music and environment, and of course the attention, everyone was so gentle with us. Definitely we are going to come back soon

    I love this restaurant, I've only been for the Sunday BBQ and it's exceptional, I brought my 8 year old son this time as he has a big appetite and loves trying new things, he loved it. The meats are beautifully cooked, the sides are really nice, I could take a jar of their vinegarette home, the staff are really friendly and the music makes me feel like I'm on holiday, the place is a full vibe, I actually love that it's not super bright either. I recommend it to everyone who listens.
