We had a wonderful first time experience. We went prior to going to the comedy show down the road. We started with the Salsa Trio, I had the Brussels Tacos, and my husband had the Fish Tacos. We both enjoyed our dinners very much. Our server was courteous, efficient and cheerful. We'll be back with friends.

El Santo is an amazing experience. It is a hidden gem in New Mexminster. It puts the Mexican in New Westminster cuisine. The queso fundido and sopa azteca are very unique and my favourites. You cannot go wrong with any of the dishes. Atmosphere and service is great. Constant attention to the table is great. Highly recomended. Gracias, Robert

Food wasn’t anything special. Service was slow and it was extremely loud. Couldn’t even hear the person sitting beside me properly.

Absolutely the best of the best when it comes to Mexican food, it’s our go to restaurant, the food is top drawer the ambiance the staff amazing, they make the very best margaritas anywhere with an outstanding collection of tequila to choose from, we weee their last night for a new years dinner, it was exceptional, 10 out of 10 In our books

The food is 11/10 - this was our second visit and we will definitely be back!! The service is good, not great; our server disappeared for a while after bringing dessert and coffee, so we had to wait a bit to get our bill. Also the hostess is not friendly at all, and openly rude to coworkers in front of guests - not a great arrival experience. Overall however, this is definitely a favorite spot, and one I will come from Downtown to visit!

El Santo is one of my favourite restaurants for delicious Mexican style food. Overall, the food is absolutely delicious, so it is definitely worth a visit. I make a point of going there specifically for the Chili Relleno but I'm not sure if they've changed the recipe or if there's another Chef making it, but this time was a big fail. Regardless, it was worth it, always is, and don't forget to finish off with a coffee and some churros, best you'll ever have.
