   Very VERY disappointed. I really love the El Torrito Restaurants but this time regretfully I felt very disappointed especially bc my husband wanted to celebrate just us on my bday since I was sick on my actually bday this was just to spend that special time. I only felt that Only Mirna the Reservation host gracefully accommodated us to my request, to open a table up little quicker Knowing it was my bday. Also my reservation was fur 6:45pm and was seated still had to wait 20 more minutes bc it was very busy. I did not understand bc there was 5 open tables ready but tables needed to be cleaned and overturned. Which means low staff of servers and bus servers However this made outcome very unpleasant Service was very poor, Our server did NOT mention any salutations or SAY ANYTHING only rushed us to order, Felt like a number. On to the “””Next!!”” He Did not mention any recommendations or offer any specials they were having. Came to us 3 time within the 7 minute sinterrupting us (we had our menus closed btw-) and asking Are you ready yet Muchachas?? Mind- you to ask To order food after just have been seated, to our table not asking drinks first? The Bars Music was SO LOUD & OVERBEARING at this time ? Maybe start @ 8:30pm for DJ and keep Authentic Dining music in the background at least for families and small children I love this music so much however if it carries into restaurant where it overbears conversation it’s JUST very awkward. DJ seems to not care only to blast - I requested to lower but he just smirked and ignored me. This restaurant really needs to address etiquette, to their staff. I am in the Hospitality industry so I have some knowledge on how people should be treated, regretfully this time especially in my circumstances very Dissapointed to say the least

   Usually being seated and getting served aren't a problem especially with reservations but today because I asked to be seated outside we forced to wait for 20 minutes which is totally unacceptable when others are being seated outside ahead of us. Then asked for drinks and water and another 15 minutes passed. I think the problem was management, poor direction and follow through

   Had a reservation but they made us wait 30 minutes to seat our party at 2 l. They seated us around nothing but families with kids screaming The omelette line took 40 minutes to get an omelette. All the food was cold se to the waiting. Server was very nice person but doesn’t know what he’s doing.. other than the chocolate fountain, the food was pretty much forgettable.

   Great service the manager so kind and helpful came to check on our party multiple times very happy

   Took 53 minutes to bring our food out. And no drinks in the meantime. And restaurant wasn’t even that full

   Foods taste different very bland. enchiladas sauce was more watered down not red .

   Maria is a great server. She made our experience so much better. She was friendly, quick to help and made sure we never had an empty drink. Food was delicious. We enjoyed the mariachi’s. We will definitely be back.

   Our reservation was at 6:45 but did not get seated until 7:30…they said that they had to seat others who checked in before us. I said wait a min…I had a res. They said they file in walk ins between res’s. Finally got sat, server was good, margarita tasted like 3 day old watered down mixture. Food was ok.

   Our server was nice. Wait was long even with a reservation. We were put at a small table right in the walk way which was very uncomfortable. I did not choose that seating. The food was nothing like I remember from years ago. This restaurant was famous for the fried corn stuff on the side. Now it’s like undercooked cornbread. Not impressed and will not be returning to this restaurant again

    A little slow service on Valentine’s Day, to be expected. Server was awesome. But seriously a 3.9% additional surcharge fee because they can’t figure how to raise food prices is very naco, low rent. No other restaurants do that. Won’t be going back.
