   Food and ambiance were excellent as always. Our server was a bit inattentive and slow to respond to needs. But we’ll be back.

   Service was ok. Valet parking was excellent. Food was good, but expensive. Pitchers are small and $60 a piece-however they were very very good. The waitress had us split our own check-doing our own math and trying to figure it all out. Overall, good environment but on the high end for what we were expecting.

   Food was good. Service was poor. Restaurant ran out of Diet Coke. I can live with that. But had to ask two times to get tea and water refills. Salsa served in a thimble sized container. Had to ask the Manager for a check and it took 10 minutes to get it. Totally not the experience wanted or paid for.

   I miss the old El Vez. The menu was more extensive having real dinners not just tacos, quesadillas and snacks. I’ve been to the original restaurant in Philadelphia and then when it opened here in Fort Lauderdale. I haven’t been in over a year. But the menu has changed and the food is overly salted. Mexican corn is nothing like Mexican corn. I won’t be going back until the chef changes.

    Great service by Arty and very tasty chicken quesadilla, street corn, plantains con queso and tres leches dessert with great outdoor seating across from the beach!
