An amazing experience. From the initial tour of the restaurant to the diligent attention by the serving staff the whole experience was exceptional. The food was amazing, the flavours were complex yet sublet and powerful while being complementary. It left you excited for the next item to arrive. We did the 'cook for you' menu and we were thrilled when the owner/chef came to present us our final menu item and to check on our experience. You can spend a lot of money dining out at mediocre restaurants or you can spend your money at this quality establishment. We will definitely be back.

Exceptionally done. I was very impressed with Elem. the food was unique, delicate and complex. Great harmony of flavours. The ambiance was very cool and the servers were knowledgeable and down to earth. While the food was fantastic it did not feel pretentious. I thought prices were reasonable. I will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!

My experience at Elem was nothing short of phenomenal! We kicked things off with the Tuna Bhel - absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The lamb was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, and the crab toast and ribs were just as impressive. But the real standout? The fried rice. I could honestly eat it every single day — 10000/10! Drinks menu is beautifully curated, with each cocktail perfectly balanced and in sync with the restaurant’s overall vibe. Try the Mango Rasmalai!! Desserts were absolutely mind-blowing. The kulfi was hands-down the best I’ve ever had — easily one of the top desserts of my life. We also tried the popcorn dessert, which was such a unique concept and tasted incredible. Right now, Elem is at the very top of my list. The story behind the owner and chef adds even more depth to an already exceptional experience. Incredible food, thoughtful presentation, and top-tier service. Couldn’t recommend it more!

A Michelin Star level of experience from start to finish. The best restaurant dining experience I've ever had in Vancouver, perhaps worldwide. What an outstanding addition to this fine city, can't wait to come back.

The tuna tartare, and brussel sprouts were the main hit! The cocktails were bomb, however felt the wine menu was limited, would have liked to have seen more variety of biodynamic and natural wines by the glass for a restaurant that focuses on sustainability. Presentation of the dishes were beautiful, however we felt rushed and pushed to make dining and cocktail decisions. Our meal would have been much more enjoyable at a slower pace, multiple food dishes were brought out simultaneously, which took away from the overall dining experience. Would appreciate a longer dining time at such a beautiful venue in the future.

Food started as phenomenal but it went downhill after the appetizers. I thought the tuna was very unique with the addition of pomegranate seeds and the lamb skewers were very flavorful and tender. The crab toast was mediocre at best with toast that you could barely cut through and swimming in a thick lemongrass bisque. The Brussel sprouts were awfully salty and we could barely finish. The worst was the Korean beef brisket that was sooooooo dried and rough it tasted like it's been cooking for DAYS. The server asked how it was and we told them it wasn't good and they didn't bother to address that. My partner thought the whole meal was over flavored and VERY SALTY. Not sure I'd recommend as we have a lot of fantastic restaurants at this price point and half the meal was a disappointment.

Amazing food, drinks and service. Definitely the trifecta! The dungeness crab toast really brings me back home. If there is option to give overall 6 stars here, we will give it in a heartbeat. No words can express how happy we were after the meal!!
