   Lovely meal, great service. Obligatory service charge a bit steep for a family of 6 but will still come back

   It was pretty much dead for a thursday night which obviously isn't the restaurants fault. However they couldn't get us out fast enough and from well before 9pm it was made clear that we needed to go. They even gave us the bill without us asking. We felt like an inconvenience more than anything to be honest.

   Simple meal for two late on a Sunday evening. Good food, well served. Venue was quiet at the time, but this suited us well.

   Elephant & Castle is a go-to. A little disappointed last night. Nachos portion was small and service was slow. Usually not the case so still recommend and will return.

   I ordered the chicken burger, and while it was fine, the chips were soggy, and the presentation looked like everything was just slapped onto the plate. My wife had the crispy battered fish, but it was no more crispier than the chips.
