The Elephant Walk serves Award-Winning Cambodian and French cuisine with extensive vegetarian and gluten-free selections. Cambodian cooking is beautiful and delicious, but still rare in America. Less hot and sweet than Thai, richer and more complex than Vietnamese, the complex spice pastes that are the foundation of many Cambodian dishes reflect Cambodia’s Indian ancestry (but use fresh rather than dried spices). Our Cambodian and French selections encompass both traditional and original dishes created by our Chef Nadsa de Monteiro, who was raised in Phnom Penh speaking both Cambodian and French and subsequently lived in France for many years. Our Cambodian-and-French theme is an authentic reflection of our roots!

Delicious food and so many great options! I had the catfish, which was a perfect mix of deep flavors but light fish. The gelato was also a perfect ending to the meal.

The food here is excellent, but the service is slow. They seated the two of us at the wrong table according to their internal notes and asked to confirm our reservation name after seating. That was no biggie, as they let us stay seated where we were which was in a nice, quiet spot. We felt like we were waiting a long time to order drinks and food, and waited a long time for both to come out; although we felt a little better once we had our first drinks in hand. We loved being able to enjoy both French and Cambodian food here. I leaned towards trying anything on the menu that said traditional Cambodian or quintessential Cambodian food. My partner ordered more French food. I absolutely loved B’baw Mouan. That dish was so cozy and delicious, perfect for the onset of colder weather. I’ll be thinking about that soup forever!

Our first experience in this lovely restaurant and we will be back. Clean, fresh Cambodian French fusion with excellent wine list at a great price point. The service was responsive and meal paced perfectly. Pork belly appetizer with crunchy rich was excellent, as were the soups. The Bai Mouen was crisp and perfectly cooked. We absolutely loved the crusted rare tuna loin with perfectly contrasting chili sauces and crispy ravioli. And the coconut custard with Kambocha squash was outstanding. Beautiful meal.
