   It was wonderful! We had a great date and the food was delicious. I could tell it was a bit loud inside, but we were seated, as requested, by the railing - beautiful view, not too loud for us, sunny. All around - great experience.

   Our server unfortunately ruined my birthday night. He was rude and when my guests told him that it was my birthday and they asked another server for a specific dessert, he said “that’s not how this works,” and did not even mention happy birthday. It was very unprofessional and unaccommodating. He was a bald black male with black ear piercings on, and I would suggest having a conversation with him. I would hate to have someone else’s night ruined.

   I do hate how close the tables are together. We can hear everyone’s conversation so we asked to be moved and they moved us. But also good food and service.

   The overall restaurant ambience and food was seasoned. The price was a little bit more than what you would expect for the environment of being that it’s on Santa Monica beach I can understand why it’s a little pricier. The service was decent the first waitress we have we asked if we could pay separately as we were there for business so we could expense them properly she said she doesn’t do it that she will only split it four ways but that we could ask the next waiter who came in because they were fixing to switch shifts kind of left a bad taste in her mouth Overall, the experience at this restaurant was decent. The waiter was excellent.

   The music and noise level was so loud that it ruined the experience. The quality and taste of the food was lost in the noise. I would not recommend this unless you enjoy a noisy environment.

   They accommodated a time change and still sat us in the sunset room. Great service as usual and the best whipped eggplant and dough bubble ever tasted.

   HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We were sat at a table next to the kitchen door, so we kindly asked if there was another table. The hostess was RUDE, AGGRESSIVE, and LIED to us. She said the table we pointed at was for 4 people yet she just sat another party of 3 there (just like my party).. She has brown hair and blue eyes. We said that to her and she began to insult my intelligence… I HAVE A MASTERS DEGREE in Business, how dare you! You do not say to people that they “do not understand you” and begin to speak slowly as if I’m a child… Again, I am highly educated and should NOT have had such an experience. She asserted that everyone in my party “did not understand her.” Meanwhile, she clearly had some type of bias or issue. NOT OKAY!!! Worse customer service I’ve ever seen and this woman should NOT be dealing with customers. DO BETTER, Elephante!!!!

    Such a wonderful dinner, our server was incredibly kind and personable. The front door hosts were also incredibly kind, thank you Elephanté!
