Elevator has been open at 161 North High Street for over twenty years but did you know that the building has played host to great food and cold drinks since it was finished in 1897? Today, we uphold the history and craftsmanship of the space reflected in our fresh, seasonal menu and our expansive beverage program, which includes not only beers brewed on-site but in house made draft cocktails and sodas.

    Server was super nice and our food was very delicious. Very close to the Palace Theatre. Will definitely return.

    The food and service are always great, the “Rock” is an awesome experience. We always enjoy going so we took our employees tonight for our Holiday Party! Great Time!

    This is our 2nd times visiting this restaurant while we are staying in the city. The services was very good. Food was great except for the dessert, we got to go and the creme brulee was just scrap into the container. It was just surprise when came back to out hotel and open the container. Definitely would visit again when we are in town.

    We just went for a drink and a few appetizers before a show. Seems like a pretty vibrant place, the appetizers we had were good as was my beer and my wife’s cocktail. We’ll have to come back here sometime for a dinner.

    Our family of seven adults enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was prompt and friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for a pre-show meal. A seven minute walk to the Palace Theatre meant the location was wonderful, and convenient parking in the side lot made it an easy evening.

    Everything was great except when I entered the building. The tiles in front of the entrance were very slick from the rain and the mat was very big. So I slipped and fell into the door. Thankfully, I was uninjured but it could have been worse. I was glad to see when we left that they had put out a slippery floor sign outside to alert other customers.

    The food an ambiance was great. Our server was a little slow in getting to us and never offered dessert or suggested the dessert menu to us. Otherwise it was a great time!

    Our server was absolutely slammed but still attentive. Great food, great drinks, great vibe, great prices. Totally underrated Columbus restaurant!
