   Service and food prep was very slow and there were few tables. Meatball were good but everything else we ordered was mediocre.

   I thought this would be a good Valentine's Day spot, it was not. Music was cranked up so loud that I couldn't hear my partner across from me. Took away any intimacy from the evening and instead made it feel like a party bar. Had planned on having multiple drinks to try different things, our first drinks didn't come out until the mains because the drink order was "lost." Don't know how that happens. This was a late reservation, it was not that full. The food was the biggest disappointment. My chicken parm tasted like a costco frozen cutlet, and the "red sauce" that was touted so heavily on the menu reminded me of generic sauce from a catering company. I thought I was being too harsh until the table next to us sent their food back. They also rejected and sent back their drink order. The truffle risotto was fine. Alla vodka was fine. Why was the best thing we had the mozzarella sticks? At this caliber of a restaurant? Should have gone to Frankies. At least then both the food, ambiance, and attention to detail would have been on par for a lovely Valentine's Day

   The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. An outstanding restaurant that I would highly recommend!

   My wife and I had dinner at Ella’s last night and the food was exceptional. The service by our server, Matt Valentine was even better. He’s definitely an asset to Ella’s. Not sure if we ever experienced a better waiter.

   Food was amazing, good portions and so delicious! We shared a salad which was perfect, then I had the vodka fusilli and hubby had the special- a slightly spicy shrimp Alfredo. We shared tiramisu which was divine. Great spot for a nice dinner or date night!

   The food and service was excellent! BUT we paid 115.00 for 2 entries, a glass of wine and a beer. We don’t mind paying that for fine dining, which the food was, but the space is far from it. Let’s start with the hostess who was dress in baggy jeans and sweater who barely acknowledged us let alone smiled. The tables are to close together and it is very noisy! There is Nothing in the space to dampen the noise. We loved the food but we were very disappointed in the space. It was like being at a fast food restaurant… no atmosphere! As a local I would suggest leaving it for the tourists!

   We ended up at Ella’s after another reservation fell through. It was a very welcoming and delicious spot! It’s an excellent option before attending a concert at the Schermerhorn. They even offer special valet rates, although there was definitely confusion among the staff as to what the rate is supposed to be.  highlights of the meal or the mozzarella cheese sticks and the chocolate dessert. I would go back just for those!

    The mixed drinks were really good. Servers and bartender were both very friendly. The food quality was okay, but for the cost my expectations were much higher than what was received.
