Ellina is a cozy, intimate restaurant located in the heart of Aspen.
Nestled in a stone walled dining room for the perfect, cozy Alpine dining experience. In the summer, the large outdoor patio offers al fresco dining in the shadow of Aspen Mountain.
We are known for our homemade pastas and modern Italian cuisine - Chef Diaz' roots in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico often bring a Latin spark to classic Italian dishes. Our signature Artichoke Heart Bruschetta has been on the menu 15 years and still has a passionate following - a must try on the menu!
Wine is our passion, and Ellina's worldly wine lists offers over 2500 choices, with a particular love and focus on the wines of Italy and France.

This restaurant was so accomodating to our party and made the birthday of my friend very special. The food was hot and tasted great. But most importantly was the service! We changed our party size like three times and they were overly gracious and accommodating. Its a small space but it felt like a private dinner party and was cozy and warm. Our waitress was awesome and even though we were a party of 10, drinks and food came out very quickly. I would definitely eat here again!

Exquisite beet salad. Pasta to die for. Residents of Aspen agree. The restaurant was filled with locals. The rock walls have the dining room a European under the castle ambiance. The only criticism I had was the loud noise level,

Thank you so much for this lovely review! As we have gotten busier and busier over the years, it has gotten a bit loud at peak times and we know it - we are planning a full acoustic revamp this spring offseason - with a complete sound absorption system!

The food was the best I have ever had. It was a gastronomical delight!! The waiters were so accommodating and professional. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Jill, who was an absolute delight and extremely helpful with our wine selection! I highly recommend Ellina!

Elina was great as always! Service was impeccable. The special pasta and calamari were highlights. Their pepper fettecini was a little disappointing, but we will definitely be back!
