    Even though the restaurant was lovely and the food was decent, nothing in particular will draw us back. (The host/hostess situation when you walk in is not organized or very pleasant but that’s not unique to this restaurant so not a deal breaker just wish someone would figure out why it’s so difficult.)

    Our first trip to Ema was a hit. The decor, the service, and,of course, the food were all tops! Our waitress made fabulous suggestions and fully explained every dish perfectly. We will be back soon.

    Our service was perfect in addition to our waitress. The hostess on the other hand needs a lesson on etiquette. We had reserved a table for four and last minute our baby sitter canceled. In the entry she told us that we reserved a table for four but with a child it is five. She was rude and did mot even want to hear our side. We did get a great table and there were many more. No need to make someone feel bad on New Years Eve.

    The food was excellent! Service was spotty and slow. We had a 7 pm reservation and didn’t get our first course (hummus) until 7:50. Not enough pita served with it. Overly long stretches between plates. But the food was delicious and we’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

    I felt like the hostesses weren’t very friendly. The waitress we had was amazing, very personable. Food was great, and vibe was amazing
