Ēma is a Mediterranean and California-inspired restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants located at 1320 Patriot Blvd. The menu, crafted by Chef Partner CJ Jacobson features spreads, dips and assorted mezze, Mediterranean small plates, with an emphasis on Hummus & Spreads, Raw, Vegetables and Kebabs. Signature dishes include Moroccan Onion Dip, Spinach & Feta Spread, Tahini Caesar Salad, Octopus Carpaccio and Spicy Brisket Kefta Kebab.

The beverage program showcases cocktails with flavors crafted from Mediterranean ingredients like chinola, fig, fresno chile and coriander. The wine program, curated by Sommelier John C. Ema is a fantastic dining experience and a terrific addition to Glenview! The ambiance is relaxing and beautiful, and the servers could not be more attentive and friendly. The food is delicious and each dish is unique and flavorful. The prices are $$$ but it is a "well-worth it" and enjoyable dining experience!

First time to Ema! Was super excited as Aba is one of our favorite restaurants. Very unique and yummy dishes!

Our experience was very mixed but ultimately disappointing. My wife chose this as a special occasion spot for the night of her 50th birthday (this was noted on the reservation). It's a nice, elegant place with a modern, city-like vibe. We brought our kids and were happy to see they had a separate kids menu. Overall, the food was high quality but I'd certainly hesitate to say it was 'outstanding' - especially for the price. The brussel sprouts were a favorite, crispy & tasty. Classic hummus was very good too. We were divided on others like the stracciatella and falafel. We typically like sweet stuff but the dates were so sweet they were practically inedible. The Chicken Kefta looked good but was way too over seasoned. Our waitress was nice and attentive and the beginning but disappeared for stretches. But the worst was that she completely forgot about the bday, even though I made a point at the beginning of saying we were celebrating a "BIG" birthday. It was getting late for the kids (school night and we couldn't get a rezy before 7:45). What's worse is after settling the bill, we watched her bring a bday treat to the table across from us. It's unfortunate they were so short-sighted and the night had to end on such a sour note.

This was our first visit to the new Ema Restaurant in Glenview. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The restaurant decor was beautiful, the server Ellie was very friendly and helpful in explaining our choices on the menu. Our meal was delicious and we enjoyed our selections and were happy with the delicious Greek Yogurt dessert for the birthday girl which we all happily shared with her. We give Ema 10 stars and will be returning and we will recommend your restaurant to everyone! The Kupperman Family

The restaurant is decorated beautifully! Bright and Cherry and very California vibe. Food was outstanding! Everything was great! Will be back again!

Service was very attentive and relaxed. Always felt cared for in every way. Food was so flavorful, every bite was delicious. Ema’s is now our favorite restaurant. We are moving soon, please open one near Naples, Florida!

I don’t get it. Combining Mediterranean food with California flare is like oil and water in my book. Mediterranean food is more traditional and hearty while California style is about fancy food that rarely satisfies. I’ve tried this restaurant three times and though it is fine, it’s not my cup of tea. Beautiful decor, good service, but the food ….

Restaurant is lovely but food was VERY hit and miss: one dish was wonderful, the next was not good. Portions are fairly generous for what is intended to be shared so it is easy to over-order.
