Rooted in the warm spirit of Northern hospitality, this is a neighbourhood kitchen where you can eat, drink, unwind, and truly feel at home. We believe in the power of good, solid, recognisable dishes and fresh, seasonal ingredients. Each dish is crafted with precision and a touch of refined elegance and always prepared from scratch, in-house. If it isn’t already obvious, we love what do, and we work hard to curate a menu of classics that have the power to make you want to order everything. Visit was for breakfast. Had the continental option. Good choice and you could have anything on the menu. Drinks were plentiful. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

Very busy (Sunday morning breakfast whilst staying at City Suites). Poor table (near automatic door which kept opening and letting in cold air). Slow service (understandable as so busy). Kitchen had run out of several items on breakfast menu.

Excellent service and breakfast. Booking when pre paid was easy via open table but it would be better if for pre paid breakfast you had better choice for times as it got booked up and only choice we had was 7.30 am on a Sunday. We were pre warned it would be busy so to book at arrival. Due to travel delays and pre booked meal and venue I didn’t. Maybe the option should be pre booked on booking or opt for book on check in? Any how everything else was excellent.

We really enjoyed the ambiance and the service. The beef pie, a nice twist on a beef bourguignon. A bit pricey normally but the 30% off the bill- January deal was excellent value!

Could not fault anything really. All our food was excellent as was breakfast the next morning. If we lived in Manchester we would definately visit again for breakfast and evening meals. Staff very hard working polite and cheerful. Thankyou from the Smiths

We visited during a very busy period, but the staff were calm, organised and efficient. Food tasty, hot and good portions. Well done!

The food was fairly standard in quality and taste. It wasn’t bad but just a lot of simple quality fried food and just nothing of great tasting culinary experience. The decor of the place is lovely but it actually the restaurant for hotel next door and it just lacks a lot for imagination, price you pay and a lot better options in Manchester.

The food was great and well worth the money. Service was exceptional, very lovely and was always happy to help. The venue itself was gorgeous 😍 lots of seating (bar stool, restaurant seats or sofa type) Will definitely be going back!
