   Food was overcooked and only warm. (lamp chops). I think they held food for other food on order.

   While the quality of the food served was very good the dining experience had much to desire. There was a very limited fine dining items. The restaurant felt like eating in a Cracker Barrel. The menu, except for a couple if items, was exactly like the bar menu. There was absolutely zero ambiance, bright lights, decor and etc. I fully understand that the resort is very FAMILY oriented there should still be a restaurant for quiet upscale fine dining. We totally enjoyed the resort except for the dining experience.

   Food was good and so was the service. We did the breakfast buffet so it was pretty simple. We would go again on another stay.

   So this is a hearty 👍. From the valet at the front door, to the receptionist and our server-Poppy, we felt valued and welcomed. Being a bit of a foodie, my expectations were high and I was more than pleased! the hummus appetizer & four beautiful lamb chops cooked perfectly, so good! The roasted vegetable side of sweet potatoes, parsnips and turnip ? amazing! We were pleasantly satisfied so dessert was not a temptation. Will return-maybe breakfast!

   The ambiance is different from Dollymore resort - but on purpose. Also - dinner at this restaurant is table service vs. a buffet. But overall - we enjoyed our meal - and the manager stopped by several times to check in with us.

    Very nice place, food and service was great. Free dessert for a birthday, got it to go since we were full up from the meal! The biscuits served before dinner were awesome, with butter and a kind of pepper jam. Price was very reasonable for a resort. Nice start to our weekend getaway.
