   Very good as always. Always a must for us. Glad they had a wonderful Mahi special as the main menu hasn’t changed much over the years. Wine list has also been scaled back which was disappointing but still found a quality bottle. Service was great as always and they do a wonderful job celebrating birthdays. Pistachio cheesecake was delightful as well.

   Emeril's Coastal restaurant on Grand Boulevard used to be a spectacular dining experience- top notch management, proactive intelligent staff, attentive servers.. and of course Emeril himself would often be in the kitchen. Today they have nice people, of average talent working in the shell of what used to be a proud part of the Miramar Beach dining community. You now pay Emeril's ( 5 Star )prices for maybe a 3 star experience. We have patronized Emeril's Coastal since he first opened this establishment, now feel abandoned.

   We've eaten at Emeril's many times. It's been our "Go-To" place for Mardi Gras dinner. The first year we went the place was PACKED and it was had a fun Mardi Gras vibe. There was Jazz and Zydeco playing. Chef was there cooking, there was a big party in the back room. People in the main dining room were sporting their Carnival spirit as well. The servers were great and into the spirit. Emeril's special menu was delicious. It included crawfish linguine that was to die for. The next two years, Chef wasn't there but it was still a good atmosphere. The big party was in the back and when they left, they still handed out a few of their 'throws'. It wasn't as packed as it was packed as it was that first time but still fun. The menu was the same and the food was still delicious. Last night, we walked in. It was quiet (comparatively). There were lots of open tables. The party in the back room wasn't there. There was one other table other than us that were dressed for Mardi Gras. Yacht Rock was playing over the speakers. There was no vibe there at all. The special menu had changed. We started with the upside down pineapple cornbread. I had a burger and my husband had the fish and chips. Our daughter had the pork chop with étouffée over it, on a bed of rice dressing. All in all the food was really good. The only bit that was a huge let down was the King Cake. That was the toughest King Cake I have ever had in my life (I'm from Louisiana mind you - I've had a lot). During our dinner we looked at the google reviews because we couldn't believe how much it had changed. We were so surprised to see how much it ha dropped from over the years. We will be going back, because (other than the brunch - terrible) our meals at night have been really good. We were just so disappointed in the lack of Mardi Gras spirit last night -- and the King Cake. It would be sad to see such an amazing restaurant waste away.

   Excellent!!! Will definitely be back…wanted the fried crab claws but they were out. Overall excellent dining experience.

   Dinner at this restaurant was the highlight of my birthday week in Destin, FL ! The drinks, the food and service were all outstanding. We reserved a hightop table, which war located in the "entrance area" of the restaurant- great for people watching, however not a great cozy dinner spot- so next time definitely a regular table in the main restaurant

   Had a great meal at Emeril’s Coastal. Other than sitting next to the door to the kitchen with the constant traffic in and out (with a late obtaining of reservation beggars can’t be choosers) everything else was great. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The tuna wraps for appetizer were very tasty. My wife and I each had fish dishes as our entrees (pecan crusted red fish and cedar plank mahi) and both were cooked perfectly. Our desserts were the bread pudding and the olive oil cake and both were very delicious. We would recommend Emeril’s for couples or groups.

   Very disappointing experience. They did not have the whole fish which is the only reason I decided to go there for dinner and were out of the gin I requested for my cocktail. After having our cocktails, we went to a much better restaurant that did have whole fish on their menu and had it available. I knew better than to go to a tourist trap like Emeril's, but the allure of getting a whole fish clouded my judgement.

    Limited menu but everything they have is very good. Miss the fire pits though that Emerils previous restaurant had when it was Italian
